What's there is good, but needs more time in the oven. Has a bit of an identity problem at the moment. Give it a few months and check in back then.

I'm sorry to say that before the announcement I wasn't aware that the devs were struggling with keeping the project afloat. I have used the program for several thousand hours and it is absolutely invaluable for my enjoyment of VR. 20$ is very little money for the great value I got.

this game is special, i don't know if it will have longevity but it's very unique in the fact that you want to play not to win, but because you want to watch the silly video that will result from trying to film your mission

playing this with my gf and whenever someone gets stuck in a combo the other gets so mad

I think it's a bit barebones ATM, but at the same time this game has a lot of "moment". If you have friends to play with that are persistent and won't give up after losing a few games, then I'd say yeah pick it up.

If you liked Motherload (the OG one) I think you'll like this.

the aliens have casually blown up three of my moon bases

one of my operatives is a spy controls both the chinese AND russian intelligence services, he's an absolute murder machine and has killed like 10 enemy operatives so far

oh yeah, china is also literally too big, united and authoritarian for any of the super secret new world order factions to control any of it, so it's the only major country that's still independent

this game might be flawed but it pleases my ADD brain

The gameplay of the game is servicable. It's fine. What really makes it stand apart from its competition is the raw, oppressive atmosphere that permeates everything. It puts every other tactical shooter to shame in this department. As a matter of fact, Six Days in Fallujah is not a tactical shooter, this is a bona fide horror game. It's the only game that I've found to be so engrossing to its players that people who would usually "roleplay" being racist (unchecked bigotry is a huge issue in the milsim community) are actually completely silent here, as they're too busy scanning each doorway, each window for a potential threat to find the focus to utter slurs. It's quite an incredible sight to behold, if I'm honest.
