Let me start by saying that i have played over 100 days of Ark on Xbox. Have been in love with this genre since. At first glance, i thought this game could be pretty cool. Only 20 bucks, overwhelmingly positive reviews. what could go wrong? i saw that the file was less than 1 gig, hmmm thats not the best sign. immediately i was blown away with the level of complexity, the unique WoW/Runescape graphics & vibes, the fact that we can play UP TO 10 PEOPLE ONLINE, WHY DONT GAMES DO THIS ANYMORE?? anyways, about 9 of us rented a server and set off. By sunday night, we had over 400 hours towards the server and base. we were making the upgrade to iron hardware and armor. this is where tension started to increase. last night, we set out as a group of four to find some iron. these crypts can be a ♥♥♥♥♥ to find and get to. i ended up dying because i was the only one with a shield, highly viable btw. my first homie had almost full iron armor and insisted on playing like a DPS when he was the tank of the group. i of course became quite frustrated of dying for not only the loss in soft skills but the treacherous path needed to get back. i started to call him out on playing like a yellow belly baby back b i t c h and he became quite upset. well this morning that same friend started to get envious that other friends were more efficient at retrieving cores for portals and such so he posted in our discord complaining about two people "hoarding" ingredients that they risked life and limb after hour long boats ride for. i was not with them as i was still rockin troll level 2 armor. anyways, i decided to say that theres no real reason to get upset about the core and burial chambers, we can always find more. well to make an long story short, he refunded me the money we split to start a G-portal server, removed and banned me from the server(after putting in about 45 hours in 3 days.) ive known this friend for over 10 years IRL. he was willing to toss a friendship of OVER 10 YEARS OVER PIXEL IRON. he became quite upset and took some personal jabs at me not pertaining to the game. admittedly i did tell him "i hope whatever you order for lunch gives you violent goose diarrhea". well our entire discord called him out on his ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, so he became defensive and took his anger out on me. now im pretty sure ive lost what i thought was a very good in real life friend. because of pixelated iron, something one cannot even hold. after 3 days of playing. so when you ask me fine, fine people of steam, would i recommend this game to others? you bet your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ass i do. FIGHT ON AND DONT BE A YELLOW BELLY BABY BACK ♥♥♥♥♥
