Okay so I've got 440 hours in this game. I had lots of goals and plenty of enjoyable content (enjoyable to me!) remaining to do to get my gear finished, multiple gear sets for multiple weapons and purposes, you get the point.

Then 1.1 happened, dramatically slowing down progression with both gearscore and crafting. It turned what was a grind (Which I was okay with, I played a monk in FFXI's distortion era!) into a complete slog through a leech infested quagmire. It introduced a bunch of new bugs, whereby anything that benefits the player is immediately disabled and anything that hurts the player receives the "We are aware of a problem with X and are diligently working on a solution" canned response and then you can sort of guess that at any time in the next 2-4 weeks you might actually get a patch that addresses the problem. Case in point: harvesting of monsters that drop certain motes were yielding way too many motes. This was disabled within 12 hours. Elite chests in the endgame areas are dropping almost nothing: we are aware of a bug and are working on a solution.

At its core this game has potential for the folks that enjoy a good grind, but the management of AGS is absolutely horrible and it's like they're working to kill the game instead of improve it.
