An oppressive atmosphere and bleak world with lots of promise. There's a snarky sharpness to every facet of this game's character designs and writing that take the cyberpunk setting we find ourselves in and elevate it. Tensions run high and you can't help but laugh at the sardonic nature of the characters and how they interact with each other. The puzzles are well constructed and the poker mechanics are thoughtfully intertwined with the frantic debates we find ourselves navigating to uncover the truth, if that's truly our goal as the hero.

A devilishly good time, I find myself eagerly awaiting the full release.

An outstanding and fun take on the "bullet heaven"/vampire-survivorlike genre of games that have become steadily popular as of late. A variety of characters that have deceptively simple modifiers that affect their gameplay to an extreme degree keeps each run fresh. It's not a game that I can binge for too long, but it's a great game to pick up and play for half an hour when I come home from work.

While it has a lot of minor inconveniences (had to reset because it soft locked once when Sonic was stuck in level geometry during a side-scrolling sections) this is the freshest Sonic's felt in a long time and the game where he controls the best. It's a 7.5/10 that feels like a 10/10 because of its ambition and that's what matters most to me.

Also the first boss alone dunks on every final boss we've had in the past 14 years.

Fun game with lots of replayability and a compelling story.

At a surface level, it may be easy to discredit this game as a derivative of Undertale, but it does so many unique turns and twists in both its storytelling and gameplay presentation.

As a professional gamer who never backs down from a challenge, I played this game on the second hardest difficulty that was available. Multiple battles tested the limits of my abilities and I am not going to lie, the last few bosses broke me and forced my hand to play on Medium difficulty. A fair warning, this game has some rather disorienting visuals that at times feel unfair, but I personally thought that it enhanced the story it was trying to tell. This can easily become a deal breaker for some. In spite of this, Everhood is still a unique twist on the rhythm game format.

The best way to describe this story would be a dream you have to wake up from but will be sad to do so. Genuinely funny and heartwarming characters pave the way to some of the most memorable moments in gaming that I have experienced in a long time. Music kicks butt, too.

Game of the Year 2021 and it will be very hard for me to change my mind on this one.

An excellently designed JRPG with a charming cast of characters and a gripping plot. While veterans of the series will note plenty of callbacks to past entries in the series, this game is also a great starting point for RPG fans interested in the world of Yakuza.

Good base building simulator and dollhouse game. Wish it was better at that though.

Excellent entry to the Danganronpa franchise with updated mechanics that are more fun to play as well as an enjoyable cast and a huge post game with multiple new game modes to play.
