This is a really bad game. Like, seriously, this makes Sonic Lost World look like a blast. The gameplay is horrendous. The game tends to punish you for going too fast, and there are plenty of spots that you will get hit out of pure luck, meaning there is no way to know if you will take damage or die until it is too late. The studio that developed this game seems to have no clue on good level design practices. In addition, the spin dash makes you go very slow, so if you are using a character that doesn't have the drop dash, have fun turning back around to gain momentum. Oh, and the bosses take an eternity to beat because you can only hit them once every 30 seconds. It feels like every other Sonic game that comes out turns out to be abysmal at this point.

This is a scam. There's only one mode, no leaderboard, and like others said, there are free alternatives.

This game is really fun. If you could put digitalmilkshake as someone that referred you, that would be much appreciated :)

This game is really good. Like, seriously. I was shocked by how much fun this game was, especially after that GARBAGE 3D remake. The new OST is such a banger and I cannot get that boss theme out of my head. I'm so glad we now have a definitive way to play this game.

Very fun game, especially for one that takes less than an hour to beat. After finishing it, I just had to come back and get the rest of the achievements. It has gameplay elements from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild such as climbing and gliding. The gliding is great because when you dive and then swoop back up, you keep the speed you are going at, meaning you can go so fast that you can explore the entire island. The sidequests are actually fun to do, and you'll be coming back to all the characters eventually. In a way, it feels like the older Animal Crossing titles. The music is also amazing. I would literally stay in one area just to listen to the BGM. Very charming game, especially as an indie game.

Square Enix seriously needs to take notes on how to properly port games to PC. I'm not even close to finishing this game, and yet I'm confident writing this review. This game is half high school simulator and half murder mystery, and Atlus knocked this game out of the park. You actually have a very good reason to be social: the more social you are, the stronger you will be in combat. Socializing is the grinding alternative, though you still really need to know how the combat functions work or else you will get obliterated by the third boss and be forced to load a previous save, set the difficulty level lower, or start over. My advice: COPY YOUR SAVE AFTER YOU BEAT A BOSS. YOU HAVE 16 TOTAL SAVE SLOTS!! Even though the main combat isn't beginner friendly, this game is definitely worth your money, and as of the time writing this review, according to howlongtobeat.com, this game takes 69 hours to beat on average. Do yourself a favor (or if you hate yourself, do me a favor) and purchase this game.

Although I recommend this game, I do not believe you should get this game on Steam, unless you have played a lot of Sonic Adventure 2 beforehand. If you have not played this game yet, I recommend you get it on either the PS3 or Xbox 360. This is because there are 2 problems with the Steam version.

The first is that the launcher is horrible. If you are using some sort of Xinput controller, this should not be a problem. However, if you are using a DualShock or Nintendo controller, you have to do a whole process in order to make it work. I have created a guide for this problem, but it is still very time consuming.

The second is that there is a missing texture, which will be extremely confusing for new players. This texture is the (spoiler) portal from the Mystic Melody, which obviously, will make the game harder. As this was released in 2012, it is unlikely that this will be fixed.

Aside from those issues, Sonic Adventure 2 is decent. It is not the greatest Sonic game in my opinion because of its linearity, but the story is one of the better ones in the series. The gameplay, aside from linear, is really good, especially the second half when you get more power-ups. The soundtrack is also pretty good, but not as great as other games in the series such as Sonic 3 & Knuckles. But this game is a good game. You probably will have a better experience playing on the PS3 or Xbox 360, but if you have no other option other than PC, then you should purchace Sonic Adventure 2 on Steam.

Sonic 3 & Knuckles is my favorite Sonic game. There is pretty much nothing wrong with it. Every zone in this game is very different from each other, but is still very fun. It was also easy for me to complete Sonic 3 & Knuckles, so if you are new to the series, this is not a bad place to start. This game is also compatible with Steam Workshop, meaning that it is possible to play mods very easily. It is also worth noting that if you purchase and download Sonic 3 & Kunckles (or any other game part of SEGA Mega Drive and Genesis Classics), you are purchasing and downloading a "ROM" that is used for a emulator (SEGA Mega Drive and Genesis Classics is an example of an emulator). This means that if you dislike the SEGA Mega Drive and Genesis Classics emulator, you can always use the ROM on your prefered emulator. The Steam version of Sonic 3 & Knuckles is the definitive official version of the game, and is recommended for anyone who likes platforming, good soundtracks, and the Sonic the Hedgehog series.

I love this game. I am reviewing this because I noticed that the most recent reviews are "Mostly Negative", but this game is really good. Most people believe that the sprites are bad, but I personally like them, ESPECIALLY the enemy sprites. If you prefer the sprites on the Steam version of Final Fantasy V, then it will probably be the version you want to play. It also includes diagonal movement, which is VERY helpful. This is also based on the GBA version of this game so it has all of the bonus content, and the original soundtrack! People may disagree with my opinion, but that is their own opinion. Personally, I believe this is the definitive version of Final Fantasy V.
