This game by Artifex Mundi is one of the most astounding Point-and-click games I have ever played.

Firstly, the graphics. The amount of detail and color gives the underwater environment, as well as the ruined city, a mixture of wonder, destitution and haunting, telling the tale of a once wonderful city reduced to ruins. While it may remind you of Bioshock, the game's enviroment is still totally unique in my opinion.

As for the gameplay, the Hidden Object gameplay never gets boring. It has two kinds of objects: one where you click on the correct one, and poof! Item found, while the second one has you find an item to open/reveal another before it is considered found, and done. This added a little bit of challenge and variety to the otherwise simple Hidden Object Scene.

Tired of Hidden Objects? Switch it to Dominoes, where you will have to place the tile to reach the seashells to complete the game. Pretty simple, except that you must align the tiles correctly to move forward.

Also other than those two above are the puzzles. While most are actually a piece of cake, some are really challenging. The puzzle design, as all I can say, well made.

The story, although it overall looked simple, doesn't mean it can't hook you up to this game. Though low-quality cutscenes sucked some beauty away from the story, it can still be interesting due to the mystery surrounding the sunken city. Voice acting is also top notch, as you can feel whatever they said, they really mean it. That is a redemption for the low-quality cutscenes at least.

Overall, I love this game. Though the characters aren't really memorable, the game's environment and gameplay makes this game unqiue compared to other Point-and-click games. The Collector's Edition also added other goodies (such as musics, and wallpapers) as well as an extra mission to understand how the city came to be.

For the price tag of $7.99, it was totally worth it.
