I've loved this novel since it came out around 2015-ish(?), and my feelings associated with it has not changed since then. While I can't provide any sort of profound or deep explanation on how the story has made me feel over my teenage years, all I know is that I continue to love the story and characters the same as I've first read.

The new artworks though? As lovely as they are, I'm sort of tied down to the old sketch-like aesthetic of the first iteration cause they have that charm my brain can associate as being part of my younger years, in that it helps by being easily remembered as nostalgic. Regardless, scarlet string studios has made something that'll probably stick with me till I die, and even if I get judged for loving an anime visual novel like this so so much, none of it will affect how I feel about this lovingly made, pleasantly written, and extremely touching(for the lack of a better word) novel.

Play it heavily modded if you have 600 gigabruhs of ram and 1213 cores on your 300ghz cpu, if not then have fun with slideshow gaming as well as blank worlds that aint load lmao

Definitely recommend. as far as i can tell, even if the core gameplay is slow and sort of bland for my taste (i just mainly farm food and stuff, you can blame my playstyle lol) the mods make up for it. game is really fun to mess around with, and the challenges you can do are great. 7/11, needs more vanilla game stuff, when modded though: 9/10, very cool.
