Sequel of the Hollow Knight...
It's still a MasTaPiece for your wallet!

Compare to the original hollow knight, instead of the charm system, silksong adds a WILD variety of tools for hornet. Potions that give you extra life/extra speed; Deadly flying weapons to hunt down those flying bastards, anklets makes you run faster, etc.

If you don't like the default attack style of hornet, you can acquire "crests" during your journey in the Pharloom, which change your ability and attack styles, try them out and find your favorite crest!

In early game those 2-damage guys are annoying, but just time the attack and avoid the attack then you will be fine.

Personally, the only hard part for me is the bile water since there is only 1 bench midway and it's hidden.
Other than that it's just trail and error, few deaths to bosses and learn the patterns --> cakewalk

First played in 2020, finished most of the achievements but left with the classic mode one.
Was planning to do it but for some part of the progress it requires longer time in one sitting since you can only save 7 times + kicked out to the main menu and have to start from the latest save file.

Now just finished the classic mode in around 5 hours in total. Got 1 crash after I finished one of the picture and got sent back to chapter 4, pretty annoying. Firewalk wasn't hard at all, 1 shot gun + 2 handgun head shot is enough, or you can just cheese through with the freeze bolts.

I followed the video guide "The Evil Within 2 Classic Difficulty In-Depth Guide / Walkthrough" made by Jigzaw_Killer and it's pretty useful. Recommended to all achievement hunters who wants to 100% efficiently.

Nice

Horror game with a little girl who tries to find her sister while wandering around in the town at night.
You will meet different spirits (friendly / bad one) and ghosts through out your journey. Making friend with them or simply run away is all of your choice.

-Pros:
Heart beats push the atmosphere up to the next level.
Jump scares really make you "jump" in the first half of the play through.
Some collectibles require accurate movement of the character to acquire, it's challenging and fun.
Most of the collectibles can be found if you search the area carefully during each chapters
And
Cats are cute. (you can feed them as well ^ ^)

-Cons:
Few surprise attacks will def. kill you when you first encountered them, even you have decent control of your character.
One of the achievement requires "50 hours game-play", which is a pain in the ass. For me, already finished the game around 25 hours, I have to idle at home for another 25 hours in order to get the achieve.... which is a waste of time...
And
Crash, Crash, Crash.
Crash is the biggest problem for this game, I have to teleport back home so often to save the file since the Jizo statue's doesn't count as "save", only as a checkpoint.

Sometimes opening the map will freeze your screen but you can still move your character, so teleport back and press "up" and "Z" to save at the desk is a good solution to this. (after that just close the game and restart it.)

Yomawari is a nice game for people that want to give the horror game a try but a "not too scary" one.
7/10 ( should be 8, but -1 point due to that 50hours achievement and crashes)

A nice story of an undercover cop.

- Pros:
Open world
Very detailed in some aspects (radio in the car, some character speaks cantonese)
Those mini-games when interacting with different object is a nice design (lock-picking, hacking cameras, open lockboxes)
The slow-motion when vaulting the cover with headshots is satisfying.
A lot of different combinations of martial art to execute enemies

- Cons:
Repeated side missions and collectibles
Mini-games are fun, but still, repeated. When you have 26 cameras, you have to play and same mini-game again and again for 26 times.

For those who want to try out a undercover cop's story, this is the game for you.
If you are obsessed with achievements and 100% completion, the grinding of stats and collectibles might take you some time.
For the main story, I spent around 24 hours. 2 hours each on "nightmare on northpoint DLC" and "Year of the snake DLC"
So total 28 hours in game

Over all a solid 6/10

The story line is short, but polished.

-At the very first sight, you might think this is a horror game, but in fact it's a meaningful game with atmospheric soundtracks and art style.
-In game you can experience the same scenario with opposite perspectives, which makes the story more completed.
-You can clearly understand the messages behind the story that the author want to convey.

Though the story is being quite dark in many ways, at least in the ending Mrs. Goodwin finally meet her husband in peace, glad to see that :)
