This is an honest review. I installed Overwatch on Steam with intentions of providing an honest review.
I have played Overwatch since 2016 and have loved the game through all of it's ups and downs.
I can complain about my Mains being nerfed to the ground time and time again. I can complain about the free2play model bringing in new players who hurt my experience in-game by not wanting to learn the game or improve. And I can complain about the monetization and compare it with other games within the genre.

But the simple truth is that I continue to play this game. I have played for many years, and I am addicted to the game and the experience. The Cinematics, art, level design, hero design, and gameplay continue to keep me tied down to this game. And while, yes, there are looming issues and questionable decisions, the game is worth every bit of your time to learn and play.

Nothing is perfect. And the executives of Blizzard do force the Developers to design and implement horrible decisions. But most of this does not impact your gameplay or the experience in game. You can play this game for free and you can have the same experience as anyone else playing PVP for free.
And while the PVE missions are not free, I do not mind supporting this game every single season with my Battle Pass purchase because I will continue to enjoy this game for a long time.

So don't let the review bomb fool you. Yes there are issues, and Yes bad decisions happen all the time. But the game is absolutely worth playing and for the majority of the experience; you need not spend any money unless you want to.
The truth is that everyone who has review bombed this game is very much in love with the game as well. They have strong opinions because they love this game. But sometimes its better to put your expectations aside and just let a product/brand be what it will be than to be the mouth that causes the thing you love to fail. Try the game for yourself and then form your own opinion.
