After a day 1 play of the first two episodes, this appears to be a suitable replacement for the PSP version if you don't have a PSP--that is, of course, assuming you get the game running properly. On Windows 7 with an i5-3570K and a NVIDIA GTX 670, I was able to play and stream the game windowed without SSAO without any slowdown. Fullscreen and SSAO enabled were the only conditions under which I could create lag. (And yes, I play with a PS3 controller.)

If you're expecting all of the new bells and whistles to wow you, you will be disappointed. However, if you just want the original PS2 or PSP experience, this is a viable cheaper option with only minor graphical glitches as of release day.
