This is easily one of the hardest, and yet still most fun, games I've ever picked up.
It's definitely difficult. The art and story are fun and playful.
It deserves more attention than it has received, and I regret sleeping on it for as long as I did.

I've run into some bugs, but nothing game breaking. I wish we had more unique dungeons, but they don't get so stale that I can't enjoy playing. I think it's worth full price.

Huniepop 2 is as good as, and sometimes better than, the first. It's funny, on the nose. The characters are what you'd expect. The lewds are beautifully drawn of course. And the gameplay is very fun. I very much like the new double date puzzle mechanic and how much harder the games get because of it. Definitely worth every penny. Lots of fun and laughter.

Donut County was nothing like I expected.

When I wishlisted this game, I thought it was like a mobile game we were playing at the time with holes. I'm so glad I was wrong.

The story is short and silly. It's very fun. All the art is adorable, it reminds me of Goose Game. It's pretty and relaxing.

It's kind of atmospheric? The music and the art together are so relaxing. The gameplay is fun and pretty easy.
It's just very short, but maybe worth the full price if you like this kind of game. I would've been for me.

To begin, I really like this game. It also has a lot of potential. I wouldn't say things are outright bad, more like meh.

First of all, it's a lot of clicking. It's a match-1 and that makes it a lot easier than if it were a match-2 type game. Matching tile 2+ is not necessary to advance, but it eventually hinders you if you do not. The fighting is so unengaging that I end up clicking through tiles quickly and missing the details about my health, mind, and status effects. I think this is because they're so tiny and the clicking can be mesmerizing. It bothers me a LOT how time moves in game. I just made it to level 100 and it has supposedly been 26 years in game! That feels so disjointed from everything else in game. It bothers me. Time doesn't matter, beyond for bonuses.

The characters are that JRPG-side-side-character kind of shallow and sort of childish. They are't really fleshed out. It takes forever to get the story bits out of the game, and the character development is so minuscule to begin with. It leaves me feeling like I'm not getting much out of it.

The item mixing mechanic has so much potential, so many cool items with very useful effects, but the actual mechanics don't get explained very well if at all, and there are so many variables going on at once that it makes it hard to distinguish what exactly is going on with your results; it's hard to figure out what to mix so that I can achieve what I want.

The art is kind of different (in a good way), and the coloring gorgeous, but it seems like the artist(s) for the characters didn't fully understand angles. For example, the art is just funky underneath and around the torso and chest areas for several characters (like Monika).

Overall, it's playable and enjoyable honestly. There's enough content and it's understandable enough to enjoy. The clicking is soothing and mesmerizing. While making it a match-1 rather than a match-2 makes it more easily playable, I wonder if they could've given us the option for that difficulty to give us some more fun.

I like it enough to keep playing it. You might too. Maybe grab it on sale.

My high playtime is from falling asleep while the game ran (not because it was boring but because I have narcolepsy). It's a good, heartwarming, gay little story with pretty art and decent writing. It suffers from the same problem a lot of VNs do in my experience. The writing is nice and involved, up until the ending(s). After a certain point in the story, it just explains the ending to you very quickly and abruptly, and it always seems too soon. It's still a fun little game worth playing, and more than worth it if you grab it on sale.

Upon further thought, because it didn't sit right with me, it's not okay that the body swapped character had sex while /in another person's body/, that's really violating and wtaf

This game is just like the original and better. I can't wait for future installments!
The artists are getting better at a phenomenal rate, the jokes are still funny and fresh. The ending credits video made me emotional. It's worth the money, easily.

This game made me very emotional. The music and writing really wrapped me into the story, the voice acting is heart wrenching in some places. The music is excellent. Together, it hit me deep in the feels. Sweet lesbians made me cry. Buy this game and cry about the beautiful lesbians

Do you like fun? Interested in monster babes (of any gender)? Can you laugh? Play this game.

The story isn't something linear, just a bunch of random events that can lead to fun endings. TONS of outcomes/endings. Lots of Monsters to date. The characters are adorably terrible. Everyone's hot and funny. Monster Prom is worth every penny you spend.
