So far so good.

I'm not too far in, but I can see a few hitches in the game as far as terminology and some directions are a little convoluted as to how to achieve the goal. If you're a homebrewer you'll have no problem, but for someone that has never gone beyond extract brewing it may have a bit of a learning curve.

Some of the interface isn't incredibly intuitive (let me weigh out a specific amount of grain/hops/etc please), but you get used to it after a bit.

I found it fun testing my knowledge for all-grain brewing neglecting the recipes and just winging it to complete jobs. That's pretty much how I brew anyways, but this takes a lot less time and I can do it on a weekday.

TLDR: If you're interested in homebrewing beer, can deal with a wonky interface, are between batches, and have a bit of patience give it a try. Otherwise, just spend your money making it IRL.

(I haven't tried comparing IRL batches to what the game makes yet. I am curious how accurate everything is, however I use BIAB and don't know if that's an option in game for accurate comparison)

One of my all time favorite games, but I was severely disappointed with the port to PC.

With mods I can finally play without getting motion sickness from the constant FPS drops, but let's be honest who buys a game just to use a hex editor and external launcher to enjoy a game as it should be?

Kudos to the mod community, thank you for letting me play this as it should be.

Seriously though SquareEnix? If you're going to cash in on nostalgia at least make the game play like it was on PS1, that's all us fans were wanting.

TLDR: If you want to mess with third party programs to get the game to play correctly, go ahead and buy it. If not, wait until they (eventually, maybe?) fix this mess.
