It's a well made game, lots of modes, modding is now more or less fully supported and there's lots of well made fan content such as new maps and guns. Take and Hold is the main attraction for me, but the more time I spent on the ranges the more fun it is to just hang out and have fun shooting guns. Honestly even though I bought the game 100% for take and hold, I'm most excited about new ranges and chill pinking scenes than I am about new TnH maps. Really I'm excited about all of it, it's just a fun game without many big flaws.

Some other reviews mention that Anton is kind of a jerk, so I looked into it and honestly can't find any instances of him being a jerk that isn't in response to someone making an ass of themselves. He does chill development logs often, has added stuff to make modding easier, he even adds stuff to the beta branch of the game that is brought up in between his weekly dev logs. He's even made using a Rift/Quest as easy and enjoyable as possible despite him not liking Oculus. I dunno man I just don't see it. He seems pretty cool to me.

Anyway, enough of this. Just buy the game it's cheap and an insane value. If you like shooting stuff in VR, there's no greater VR to shoot stuff in.
