I purchased DayZ a long, long time ago when it was in early beta. It was interesting; not amazing, not so horrible that I immediately uninstalled it. Anyway, I played it and got a feel for the game, but one major issue existed: the lag. The game is so poorly optimized that it requires an exceptional machine to run decently at native resolution. My biggest problem with this is the fact that the graphics actually aren't very good; so there's no excuse for this.

Excellent game.
