EDIT: As of 10/11/2016 (switched from blinded positive praise to glaring negative truths)

I have (off of Steam) over 3,000 hours on this game and another 1k and change here. I’ve played this game since closed alpha, so I've seen it through its good and bad times. I stopped playing from October 2014-September 2015 and just quit as of 9/2016. I uninstalled the game and blew up all of my gear before quitting. I will not return.

Pros:
This is BY FAR the best mmo for PvP that I have ever played. I’d almost say that a huge portion of my life became this game just because of the PvP. It is, after all, completely fantastic. I’ve alpha/beta tested many MMOS from GW2-ESO and believe me; this one did a lot of things right. The PVP is amazing and the combat system is extremely fluid.

So, PvP and Naval Combat would be the best pros.

**HOWEVER**

To PvP AT ALL, you need to spend hundreds of dollars on the cash shop to even get close to the gearscore that you need to be. You also would need to spend hundreds to get a ship geared to the point that it needs to be. Which brings me to...

Cons:

1). It’s a money/gigantic time sink
For starters, I’ve dropped over $3,00 USD into the game over the 4 years that I've played it. At the end I had a decently high gear score @6.2k (there were many people in the 7-8k+ range though), and was to constantly PvP just about anywhere. If I had tried to get that by straight grinding, I would have had to put more hours in than a full time job. Not worth it at all either, since most of the content was boring as hell.

2). Arena System
Completely broken. Once you get past a certian rank, you'll spend 30 mins looking for a single fight or wont find one at all. The new arenas (Blood and Sand) are no better at all and have encouraged more pay to win power.

3). What are we gearing up for?
The lack of endgame is astonishing. You basically run around doing the exact same "endgame content" day after day, looking for the opportunity to wave your epeen everywhere and claim dominance over the people who don't have credit cards. You no pay? You no win.

Overall, the game is a pay-to-win trash heap of what could have been an amazing mmo. Trion completely ruined the game and I won't be surprised when this dies out completely in the next several months. They'll probably do another server merge before then and ruin everyone else's land/lives.

I leave you with this:

"YOU ONE HUNDRED PERCENT LOSE. YOU NO PAY? YOU NO WEEN!"

ibb & obb features a wonderful soundtrack, fantastic puzzles, beautiful scenery, and fluid gameplay. As someone who primarily plays competitive games, this was a perfect break that offered more than I thought it would. 10/10

CS:GO Review
Headshots all day erry day. Pro90 master race. Seriously though, its a fantastic, well rounded game.

Unless you count the aimbotters.

And the smurfs.

And the wallers.

Otherwise yeah, its a great game.
