Fun game for coop with friends, definitely worth the money if you get in on a sale.

Early Access Review
The game is missing key features yet. One of the most noticeable to me is the inventory management. I find myself having to manually stack items in my inventory while diving due to the game creating multiple non maxed stacks of the same item. Moving items around needs some optimization.
Other issues worth mentioning (I played around 3 hours only): Cumbersome trading mechanics due to lack of prices. Sound issues, specially when joining games near constructions. Buckets need to press use to fill up with water. Bleeding to death seems real, but maybe too real.
Bugs and features aside, the game is cheap, and the devs seem to be putting an effort. So I recommend getting it right now to keep the development inertia going.

First, let's make it clear. This is not an independent game.
Like the description itself enunciates, this is a casual game. Mostly mini games well put together with great production and beautiful art. The main diving game is relaxing and can have quite some depth sometimes. Both literally and figuratively in this case.
The game pace keeps it fresh for most of the time. The story is entertaining and the characters are well animated with funny interactions and cut scenes.
This is recommended to anyone that doesn't mind a bit of mini game fun with graphics that don't require an RTX 4090.

Fabledom has great graphics, the art is really good and the game play is fun and entertaining. Reminds me of a settler clone with a bit of humor.
But the game is not complete. It is usually expected for a game in early access to be in a state of an early alpha where changes can happen or the game is unpolished with test mechanics. In the case of Fabledom though, you will eventually hit a wall mid gameplay where you will have to save and wait for another year to play with significantly new content. While I could easily deal with new constructions or new mechanics added later, the fact it is clear most of the game is not even available yet is a bit of a deal breaker to me.
Recommend the game if you feel you can wait for at least a year to play it properly (and you trust the company will be around to eventually finish the game), otherwise I would recommend waiting for a stable 1.0 release.

Looks like it will be dead since devs are going the yearly "rooster" update on a new game approach. Recommended only if you really like F1 and when the game is very cheap on a sale (which won't take long after 2023 is released).

Pros
Game is the closest thing you will have to a F1 with real liveries, drivers and even voices. Good graphics.
Cons
Simulation could be better. Only way to progress is to have a better pilot or a lot of car upgrades. Strategy decisions barely matter, but I think this is how F1 is today anyway. Crashes happen too often and don't look realistic at all and the race management UI will get in your way all the time.
There is no customization at all. Probably due to brand contracts. Even drivers are always the same.
New talent doesn't matter much since you will get tired of the game before one of them has enough skill to compete with the big names.

This game is still awesome.
But the RTX, raytrace technology, beat my rtx 2080 into submission. Only changing settings with the ALT-X menu I was able to run the game. And when you do so, the quality drop is noticeable as you can see artifacts and the gameplay feels a bit awkward. I also couldn't alt Tab as whenever I did it the game crashed. Seems there is still some work to be done for a proper release on this one.
Visually, the game visual look modern enough. You eventually forget about the effects as it is not that much better than what other games achieve with baked environmental lighting and other tricks.
All in all, still recommended for people that have the required hardware as this is a free update anyway.

Simply put, this game is a first person shooter platformer runner visual novel dating simulator.
To make it even more simple, this game is very addicting. The premise is simple. You run in small courses against time to earn medals, while shooting enemies and discarding weapons which provide abilities, like extra jumps and dashes.
There is a graphic novel which provides lore, but your choices don't really matter. The visual novel is cringey as most people will tell you, but you eventually get used to it and may even get invested as times progresses.
The leaderboards can provide an extra challenge if you want to dedicate yourself and try to get the smallest time possible, and if you try to go form 100% completion an all gifts you can end with 20+ hours of gameplay. All of that while being rushed forward by the game music, very subjective to each person's taste, but it fits into the atmosphere.
This game feels fresh and creative, while the challenges are usually not hard they are a lot of fun and require a bit of time to master. Definitely a game worth of indie of the year and a must have given the price.

Small note before the review: I had massive black screen tearings that would render the game unplayable. Just before I was ready to refund, I went into Nvidia control panel and set "Vertical Sync" to "Fast", which fixed the problem.

Return to Monkey Island is yet another point and click adventure of Guybrush. It is more of the same, and it's been a while since I played the original, but it seems it is way longer this time.
If you like the franchise and if you played the originals, don't think twice. Longer and more of the same doesn't mean it is bad. The puzzles are fun and while I took more than 10 hours to end the game on the full difficulty it never felt boring and it made me want to play the game again. While eventually you might get stuck because you didn't notice some detail on a screen or two before, if you played the originals you will be used of that by now. The story is fun and you feel like this is a worthy sequel, one that continues on the same tone with both the silliness and the absurdity we are used to.

On the technical side:
Voices are great. The writing is good if you like Monkey Island games. I liked the old pixel look more because it would give more room to the imagination, I never liked the new long faced Guybrush, but the art is also very good once you leave your nostalgia behind.

This is a lot of fun with friends. Slay your way through dungeons in this roguelite game. The dungeons are fun and the characters are somewhat unique with their own abilities. Dungeons are procedurally generated and there are changing perks/bonus equipment to increase replay value.

We can sum the game in two words from its title.
The good: Bravery. Fighting is rewarded, you can hack and slash and the combos are fun. It could be better though.
The bad: Greed. I don't like the mechanics of not sharing items. I would prefer "per player" exclusive rewards as it would reward cooperative game play and allow for less friction when playing online with strangers.

Now for a longer pros and cons:
Game might be a bit unbalanced right now, which would be usual for a game just released. When fighting mobs, it does get a bit crowded some times, but nothing that the average player can't handle. Traps are challenging, and while they are not easy, they are not that hard either. After you get the mechanics you can go trough traps with certain ease.
I see a lot of potential and there is definitely some room for improvement. For example, characters could have different weapons per class for more replay value. There could be more characters as well. Also, merchants could be more common, the game seems to be a bit afraid to give you equipment which is usually what makes it fun. And since there are not many sellers gold seems a bit useless depending on your luck, as it ends being just some sort of score measurement or for bragging rights. You are usually better off using it all before the end of the match which is not always possible.

All in all, the price tag is fair and if you can play this game with a few friends fun is guaranteed.
