@bencelot Apparently not much. Actually I play the game with my two friends. Only one of us accidentally switched the language by mistake during the battle. And we figured it out very quickly.

@Jack Chen, thanks so much for letting me know this mate, I just fixed this now. I had no idea this was even a thing (never used a Chinese keyboard before lol). Question.. how common is this sort of a keyboard setup in China? I dread to think that 90% of players were suffering a broken shift key and quitting straight away lol.

Hi. It depends on their language preferred setting. Some of them pressing SHIFT(or SHIFT + CTRL, or CTRL + SPACE) once could switch the input method. While others may have Chinese as their default input method for every application.
And yeah, Chinese input method looks like a dictionary, by which you need to input the Pinyin first, then find the results of the Chinese chars you need. But it seems that Geneshift dont support that plugin.

hey Jack, thanks for letting me know! But how does this work... do you simply have to hit SHIFT once to switch input method? Or is it if you press shift repeatedly? Also once they do switch input method, I guess pressing the W key stops typing W but starts typing certain chinese characters, right?

probably the reason why lots of Chinese Players unable to move is that they switch their input method to Chinese by accident, because they need to flash by clicking SHIFT

I don't know why when I start the game. The game is black screen. I can see that the steam's fps is 1000. My mouse can move and my computer can work. But the Geneshift is black. What can I do?
