It's a Daniel Mullins game, what more needs to be said? ;)

A pared-down spin on the collectable card game (CCG) genre, with a ton of Mullins' "trademark" spooky weirdness, hidden items/teasers/events, what have you. Exploration and experimentation can be highly rewarding, as well as frustrating, at times. Do you take that rare card with an ability hoping for something down the road, or play it safe? Use something to help tip the scales early or try to hold on for when it can win the match for you?

Expect the unexpected is all I will say without spoiling anything (assuming you have avoided the many people streaming and posting videos of the game). Even if one is not a fan of CCG's, give this one a serious look, it's highly recommended.

As a 'physics sandbox', Garry's Mod (AKA gmod) isn't terribly interesting on it's own. Sure, you can build things using assets from other source games you might have and drive those things around, or set up a conga line of characters and shot them one at a time. And really how many times can you give a character a 'funny' face before it gets boring?

Then why recommend it, one might ask? It is what has been created for it. Many different game modes such as Trouble In Terrorist Town, Murder, and Prop Hunt have been made (mods within a mod with a lot of content made for these game modes), and multiplayer games and communities like gmtower have been built around this 'game'. Browsing the community workshop for gmod shows the huge amount of content that has been made for gmod.

The source engine has been around for a while, which has lent itself to being a stable and mature game engine that is playable across a large amount of systems, both low and high end. At regular price, it's worth the cost. On sale, it's an even better value.

Everyone should have this installed on their system.
