I thought people were exaggerating about how bad this game is but it really IS that bad. I enjoyed the previous Forza Motorsport games so I thought I'd give this one a try since it was on sale for $20 and I still felt ripped off. Thank god for Steam refunds.

The driving mechanics/physics don't feel engaging or deep. I played it with a controller, and with all assists off, it doesn't really feel challenging. It just felt easy and boring.

I ran the game at the highest graphics setting with RT on and it doesn't look good. The image quality is just bad for some reason. The game just look slightly blurry/smudgy and the AA implementation is terrible.
Car models are good I guess, but I expected better from an xbox "next-gen" flagship AAA driving game. They are nothing special really. It's funny because Gran Turismo 7, a cross-gen title that was released more than a year before this game, looks significantly better.

Menus, music and the whole presentation are SOULLESS. The whole game feels like designed-by-committee slop. It really just feels like a corporate product.

What annoyed me the most is the excessive amount of unskippable cutscenes and tutorials. I can believe that I'm forced to watch boring cutscenes and go through forced tutorials in every menu and for every mechanic in a driving game. This is absolutely ridicules and unacceptable.
