Early Access Review
I got my steam account in November of 2014 and this was the first game I bought. The game at the time was called "Next Car Game Wreckfest" and it was a pretty decent early access game, I eventually got bored of the game and I hadn't played it since 12/30/14. The game was too hard for my 11 year old brain at the time, I also thought that there wasn't a whole lot of content. I can't remember fully but all I remember was there was 4 cars to choose from and there was a race and demolition durby mode. Also the main menu looked WWWAAAAYYYY different. I had realised that this game wasn't being supported by the devs, a lot of negative reviews said that "potential was wasted" or "the game was abandoned". They were probably right, but then I noticed the title change. The title went from "Next Car Game: Wreckfest" to "Wreckfest (April 2018)". I decided to quickly download the game and after 3 years of not playing this game I am amazed! There is now this new developer that I guess partnered with BugBear, (I forgot the name) and everything looks totally different. But the game does have some big flaws. Here are my differences and things that stayed as well as pros and cons.

Differences:
-Menu is totally different
-Game feels easier
-Cars look way different
-Graphics feel either slightly upgraded or downgraded (depends on the enviornment)
-The maps look way different
-Car destruction physics engine looks downgraded
-Enviornment looks more colorful and vibrant
-UI is slightly changed
-Game looks slightly less realistic

Things that stayed the same:
-The cars are still in the game

Pros:
-Menu looks better
-Game feels easier
-Muscle cars look cooler
-Graphics are more colorful and vibrant
-The maps feel better
-UI looks better

Cons:
-Originial car destruction physics engine looks downgraded
-Game looks slightly less realistic

Conclusion: Overall both versions are really good, and even though the pros outweigh the cons, the cons are really big cons and therefore I can't say which game is better, I will have to play more to reach a consensus, but I'm pretty sure there is a way to play the old version if you don't like the new version so I recommend that you buy the game and play each version and see which one you prefer.
