I think this game has potential, but i expected much more polish out of a full priced game. constant crashes are frustrating. There needs to be access to more states and information for those that like that. Its most disappointing. The game about 85% baked. Gameplay is fun after some getting used to(i skipped civ 6 entirely so there were a few things i needed to just tinker with) Civ 7 needs work, i don't mind some of the more muted colors they choose stylistically. But it hard to understand why people are loosing it over the general aesthetics, when core functionality and stability should be the focus. I personally enjoy the depth and spacial strategy that comes with choosing where to build certain improvements and wonders. My largest complaint is stability, freezing up, random crashes. Its annoying but at least the autosave records every turn. My second biggest complaint is that Hotseat local multiplayer isn't implemented yet. this seems pretty unacceptable to me since that's the way me and my friends like to play most when it comes to map games. Idk its a bit sad 8/10. maybe 3/5 Stars. A barely passing grade, but i will hold out hope for the post launch support since im a sucker. At it's current state(Launch day) don't pay more than 45.00 USD. However i can see it being worth full price eventually given much needed work. When its not crashing I'm having fun, regardless of the changes from previous installments.
In 3 months it'll prob be worth the money. I don't review often, but i hope to revisit this after updates

Fun civ-like that has potential. Not balanced but i'm a dirty min-maxer so that's fine by me
