Short playtime currently, I know, but I actually sat and played this game a lot at Gamescom last year and yet again I get lost in the game when playing it. The mining is satisfying and the tower defense mode is perfectly timed to keep you moving quick. It is a very engaging game. Just wanted to leave a review early now to help it out a bit if I can.

18 hours later and I still have no idea where my hitbox is.
Fun game though. A lot of variety with the characters and ball combinations.

Never have i seen more lag in a game. Had i known that the servers were this terrible i would not have bought it. I know there is a game there that I love in there so I keep trying to play the game but I always leave the game frustrated.

Half Life 1 meets Project Zomboid, or something to that effect. A very fun experience.

Wow, i can see why those who played this earlier consider it a classic among the ranks of Half Life and such. The story is full of mystery and exploration into intriguing topics, there is many ways to approach combat and there is a sense of thinking long term for your survival. The game starts off being difficult, then has a period where it is a bit more easy and then becomes difficult again by the end. I suppose it depends on how you develop your skills along the way.
Discovering how all the systems go together and how the items can be used is very fun too. It feels like the game never stops evolving and presenting new ideas to you that can change how you play the game.

Great game, I really enjoyed my time with it.

It is pretty good, but it drags on once in a while. The game is best when the drama is less interrupted with long and linear switch-flipping sections in the environment I think. The same can be said for all these quests which don't have much an impact on the main story anyway. But it is nice to see this cast of characters again, it it is great to have the characters of Jesse, Biggs and Wedge more fleshed out. There are some changes to dialogue that I thought where important for the characters in the original which I think is worse in the remake, but not horrible. I just wish the game had focused more on the main story rather than all the filler stuff.

3.8 hours in and I have laughed my ass off multiple times. Great writing and the voice acting is so well done too!

It is great to be able to play these games again. I was too young back then to really grasp the writing so to finally be able to play it effortlessly again after all time to get the full experience is so cool.

Lovely game. I've only gotten to play it for a bit tonight but it has really captivated me and I'll definitively boot it up for some more play sessions. Runs great on linux using the proton, and the game even works perfectly with my 8:9 monitor, which is amazing.
