The "tomb raiding" parts of the game - the platforming and puzzling - were of the highest quality. I just wish there'd been more of it because I felt there was far too much fighting and gunplay. Overall, I enjoyed it, but I'd rather it didn't try so hard to be an action film.

I like what they've tried to do and how they've tried to do it, and wish more developers would start with the story and let that inform everything else. It is well written and well told.
However, in good conscience, I can't recommend this game because the puzzles, a fundemental part of what this game is trying to do, don't work. Some are obtuse; some are illogical; one is actually broken. The playtesting either wasn't done properly or the developers didn't fix the issues raised. You can technically complete the game without attempting the puzzles, but that's like listening to a radio on mute.
If the developers can improve in that area, everything else was of a high quality, and I have high hopes for their future output.

The premise is so good - a spy RPG that lets you choose whether to play like James Bond, Jack Bauer or Sam Fisher.
Maybe a slight lack of polish led some to dismiss this game too soon, but the further you get into it the better it becomes. The only thing I disliked about the game were boss battles that were nigh on impossible without a particular perk, which meant you had less choice on spending your experience points than you'd like, but it's got a good story well told which is really impacted by the choices you make.
The 'very positive' ranking on here should encourage a sequel even if it didn't sell too well on release - if they can balance the perks better and give it a little more polish, it could be massive.
