Don't look up anything about the solutions.
This is close to a platonically perfect game.

There are 4 layers.
* beat the game.
* beat the game 100%.
* secret 1.
* secret 2.

With patience and perseverance, you can make it to secret 1 without looking up anything.
I personally started looking stuff up halfway through secret 1, but i didn't have to.

Here are some hints:
* keep track of weird tiles if able.
* try to get all secrets you can while moving. you will forget you saw them.
* (late game) have you considered fireworks?
* (late game) yes, there is a lost woods puzzle. move up first.
* (one very late puzzle) you can create gusts using the mouse.
* (one very late puzzle) you can ride a certain item while throwing.
* (one very late puzzle) allow yourself to view someone else starting the game
* (one very late puzzle) if you only have 1/50 pieces, you can look up the rest.
* speedrunning is only required for secret 2.
* secret 2 wants you to record your screen while you break the game.
* secret 2 wants you to break the game within the game (no cheats).

You buy this because you listened to "Refinery Eyes" more than 50 times, didn't you?

It's good, bit brief, has some replay value.

The price of linen has never been more important to geopolitics.
If you love your gross domestic product simulator, have fun.

I think the developer has played Disco Elysium and the Stanley Parable and tried to recombine elements into something new and different, but I have been overexposed to the format/genre chosen: a fourth-wall breaking reflection on the violence inherent in classical folk stories and fairy tales.

Despite sounding niche, this has become mainstream, think of Shrek, Shrek 2, Shrek 3, etc, etc.

It's not that there is nothing here, it's just that it feels too derivative and generic for me to enjoy it.

This game is both too detailed and too vague to be playable.

The game gives you tons of economic data, but a handful only a handful of cards without detailed description of what they do.
You have to 'buy' for tens of dollars? the abstraction makes no sense. (if you are a world government, you should have more power)
Parts of the world have to buy technology you paid to develop from each other, makes no sense. (south america buys 'deep sea drilling technology' from north america)

Why give me this amount of detail, but so little control? if it's big picture, give me big picture overviews.

Its politics is also questionable as far as climate policy goes, as it is a firm believer in the power of managed capitalism to buy our way out of global warming.

It is also stuck on a strict 'developed world', 'developing', 'underdeveloped' framing. The end goal of human existence is the united states, not living in harmony with nature or something.

p.s.
Consider playing the free 'Half-earth socialism' for a flawed, but better designed game.

+it's free
+it contains some realistic politics
+critical of rampant accelerationism

-nuclear fusion and space are doomed to fail on all time scales
-nuclear breeding facilities are considered impossible despite existing in real life
-game ends when temperature drops below 1 degree warming of pre-industrial levels, which feels premature in most runs.
-the linux version does not work on fedora (quiet exit)

=there really is only one main path to winning afaik

It's good, but it's meant to be played on mobile. dragging cards with the mouse is a pain because it's too large and you have to hold the middle.

Leave a comment if you beat my 84 turn record.

bad instruction set (workable).
no named variables (no added benefit, but lots of frustration).
forced to use colons, but also forced to have everything on its own line (unforgiveable).

it literally is.
they had to do it to make their leaderboard work AND be able to irritate players with colons, but they literally add nothing but frustration.

If i wanted frivolous syntax errors to ruin my day, i'd go back to actual programming.
