A new benchmark tool for x86 handheld gaming PC.

This review is written by Captain who had played pre-Steam version. If you found this game on Steam, never played the game before and/or the new Captain ignore the issue I wrote. I got this game for free, well because it's. MHY don't sponsor me or anything (lol why would they?). This review also contain funny word (joke/sarcastic/rant and that kind of thing).

It's mobile game that somehow got great PC port. Based on unity engine this is good looking game, great story and soundtrack, and beautiful fart work (read again: fan art work) combine with cool game mechanic this game is definitely A GAME! (eh..?)
You're Captain of Hyperion Battleship who collect Valkyrie, Weapon, Equipment. Build the strongest Valkyrie, challenge menacing boss in Memorial Arena and Abyss (and brand new end game called Elysian Realm). Join Armada (Clan, Guild or whatever). Yep sounds like average Action JRPG game to me.
Some of the gameplay are familiar like hack-and-slash, quick-time event based action, bullet-hell, open world (sort of), event exclusive tower defense and side-scrolling rythm game.
If you're not satisfied with the Story or Lore, there is manga/comic you can read (either via AI-Phone in-game or search on Google). The soundtracks are also available on Online Music Streaming Service. (yes that green thingy)

Controls using Keyboard exclusively for combat ATK/Evade/Ultimate skill and WASD movement, Mouse for camera movement, navigating menu. Rebind keys available. PS and XB controller are supported. Some say the control is not good with KB+M (maybe compared to other third-person perspective games like TW3, GI, TESV). But I think it's ok, I've experienced worse.
Dorm feature, it's just there.. the purpose is only character chibi and room showcasing.. cute tho (YATTA!)

The community is alive although not toxic-free. The dev also actively engaging with the community quite recently. Posting/sharing guide on their website/forum, making competition that kind of thing.

It's always online gacha mobile game. Some of the cool gameplay are event exclusive and some are only available on end-game level 80 and up. Dorm feature, it's just there.. won't die for whatever reason. (hopefully MHY add more features, like.. idk think MHY think! yes the feature is there to think! think how BIG potential it's!)

The biggest one like salty 2na (RANT included): The game originally released for mobile, it got standalone PC port ver. on Dec 26th, 19[honkaiimpact3.mihoyo.com] It's much better experience playing this on PC without a doubt. Thanks for the port MHY and AI-chan too! Before finally arrived on steam on Oct 21th, 21. This steam version come just late. That's fact! But why I sounds disappointed? It's better late than never, right? The steam ver. have no cross-save function, means the data of your old (current/existing) SEA/GLB account isn't transfered to steam, you start from 0. *surprised pikachu face*

And after four years of playing (2 years of playing on PC?), this Steam ver. is just meh, nothing new, not good nor bad. The Steam-exclusive features is not available (yet) Steam Achievement, Cards, Emoticon, Sticker etc. I have not try Linux via WINE nor Proton yet. If you've played the non-Steam version, you're not missing anything so far. So yeah "this old player thingy cross-save" is the biggest issue I (we majority) have.
Also "Because I have played/spent more time/money than you, therefore you must care for me than anyone else" mentality. (this is why we can't have nice thing)

This issue might change in the future if MHY somehow able to release the game with SEA/GLB (different store page for each server SEA and GLB, just like in this case JP and EU server) along with cross-save (transfer old account data to steam data). The missing score in the review is because I expect more in terms of feature rich (read the issue again smh) and that's my fault. It's waiting game after all and I'm fine with waiting for little more. For now just use Add non Steam game feature on steam if you still (enjoying..?) playing this game.
