Wonderfully atmospheric and colorfully written. Its readiness to kill you might make it feel a bit unwelcoming at first, but once you get a sense for just how safe you need to play it, the world starts to open up.

If you go in expecting moon to be something that it's not, you're going to have a bad time with it. If you go in with an open mind and no expectations, you'll probably still be confused and have difficulty at first, but you'll feel the game start to communicate with you in its own way about what it expects of you. And once you start to understand that, you'll find a fun, smart, funny, rewarding, well-written experience in moon.

Unless you're trying to 100% it. There are two things in this game that are mean beyond reason, and even if you connect with this game on every other level, these two will be Hell. But they're entirely optional (if you're not a compulsive completionist like me... x_x).

Free multiplayer cardgame, with all the polish Zachtronics brings to everything they create? Heck yeah!

Basically Theme Hospital 2. If you like management sims, this is one to get.

I hate to say this about a game I backed in the Kickstarter phase, but I'm just not really digging on Hyper Light Drifter. I mean, it's really pretty, and it had an interesting idea going with the no-words storytelling, but...it was just so obtuse, I had no idea what was or had been going on, and as a result, had no curiosity about what was going to happen, because it was bound to make equally little sense. Plus, the controls feel unnatural, and there's no way to customize them. All that combined with the challenge level of the game leads to me just getting frustrated at dying over and over again and not having any motivation to keep playing.

One moment, you're pulling the slickest heist with your three partners, sneaking past security, leaving them clueless. The next moment, someone accidentally blunders into a motion sensor, and you're in a Benny Hill chase scene. Monaco can move from slow and stealthy to antic and frantic at the drop of a hat, and it's loads of fun either way. Get a full team for local multiplayer for the best experience.
