I bought this game on winter sale 2016 without knowing what the game truly holds. Not seeing any review or even people commenting on it. After experience the whole game on normal difficulty in 15 hours without replaying and finished it with half of the achievements in one go, I take back my words when I start the game for the first time.

It is truly amazing when you can experience a 2d platformer at its fullest. I could say many great things for this game : The story is beautiful and sad; the lighting is different in each area; the interesting design on the enemy and the area; the spectacular background; interesting approach on the "boss fight"; accompany with soundtrack that beautifully orchestrated. Truly a shocking one on what Unity (the engine that made this game) are capable of.

This is like RPG where you get experience points by killing enemy and discover new stuff. Once you reach a certain point, you will get an ability point in which you could spend it to choose a skill for your character. You pick the skill in a skill tree with 3 path to choose for. You can also gain different skills by progressing through the game and there is 2 bonus level in this edition that you can get new skills as well.

I also love the fact that you can explore area that is not meant to be explorable unless you have a good amount of health or a certail skill to pass through. Although there is some area that you can explore it a litte but then the game stop you to to go further if you dont have a certain ability . At least you can feel the experience knowing how these high level area feels like which is amazing to me.

One bad thing I could say about this game, which is unfortunate that they could not do it cause of time constraint, is having a control mapping while in-game. Although you can go to the discussion and look at the pinned one on how to rebind it manually.

Conclusion :
So if you are a person who is the same as me (know absolutely nothing about the game) or just think that it would be an average 2d platformer, please re-consider your thought. I can truly say after I experience it all, till the end of the game, this is worth the original price.
