Gameplay Update:
Tedium. Pure tedium. I have found myself less attached to the game as a result of the tone deaf corporate regurgitation given by all levels of staff time after time, when we finally raise a flag to the developers and they eventually hear some semblance of our concerns, a portion of the problem is fixed months later, and then the same mistake is repeated almost immediately. Nothing is a permanent fix, nothing is taken seriously, no revelation to be had, no knowledge has been garnered, it's just to shut you up at this point and make you go away. Arrowhead, you are ignoring your community, the daily average users throughout July was less than one tenth of that from the February release through March. The August numbers have bumped that in the vague hope that things have improved, and while there is more novelty to encounter, the steam charts are already on the decline. For goodness sake, implement policy changes to permanently change how these issues are addressed or all of us will bear the burden time and time again. Some assessment of the validity and scope of your data, combined with community dialogue could resolve this open war and apathy. Your move.

Update:
As of 12th July 2024 Sony has STILL NOT restored access to the thousands of players around the world that PURCHASED this game before the account requirement became mandatory. Only after those purchases took place did Sony disable purchases in those regions, and still has not refunded nor restored access to those individuals. Sony is in violation of their own contract. I will not be changing this review until you fix this for violation of your own awful backdoored EULA.


Why the ♥♥♥♥ do you think I bought this on Steam Sony? I've owned 12 consoles, repaired hundreds. You want to sell your customers hardware from several generations ago and use every opportunity to drag the rest of us down with your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ backwater cheapskate data breach ridden servers by requiring an account after it said in your own EULA that it was optional. Sincerely. ♥♥♥♥ you Sony. I want nothing to do with your services and PSN crap, that's why I bought the game on steam.
