Great DLC, I just played through the one-shot and it was expansive and fun. Great boss fights, too. Looking forward to doing randomized adventure modes through it. Ritualist is also a great archetype if you love DoT's, which I do :) Worth the price!

I got mine with the link in the first wave. A lot of people who aren't liking it expect it to be plug and play, which it is not.

I'd think it'd be perfect for PC gamers, because of the tinkering experience, but apparently people just don't want to put in the time to learn a new control scheme.

The first few hours were baffling, confusing, and frustrating.

Once I started getting the hang of what I could do with it, I rapidly started liking it more. The touchpads as a joystick are hard to get used to, and it's like that by default on a lot of titles.

Touchpads as mouse are also hard at first, because it's so different than anything I had played with, but I really enjoyed learning it, it kind of made my brain tickle while I was playing games, as I was focusing so much on what my hands were doing.

I really started liking it once I got used to that. Shooters were more satisfying, because the grip reload was so good, and the pad as mouse was pretty accurate, albeit less than a mouse.

Once I discovered gyro, though, I was in love. Once you get the controller set up the way you want and get gyro going the way you want, it's a completely new experience in gaming.

I'm playing Serious Sam 3 with it, and it's so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fun. So, I have left trigger soft pull as activate gyro, right grip as reload, left grip as jump, right pad as mouse, left pad as weapon switching, and the others would be what you expect.

You whip around in a not-super-accurate manner with the right pad, it's perfect for movement, and very fast. The second you pull on that left trigger, I have it set to be much much more accurate, think of how bullet hell games are when you're shooting.

People disagree, but once you get it set up the way you like, for me, it's more accurate, and far more immersive than a keyboard and mouse.

Is it for everyone? No, it requires a ♥♥♥♥ ton of tinkering.

Once you get it going for you though, it's yours.

Think of regular controllers as a prebuilt Dell.

This controller is something you perfect and personalize. Like a computer you built. It's wonderful if you're patient, and are willing to learn an entirely new manner of interacting with playable media.

It's the best controller I have ever used, and I love it.

Edit: pad as joystick with gyro is superb for third person games. Pad as mouse for fps.

Also, if someone reviews it and doesn't use gyro, it's a useless review.

Also edit: They really push out some fantastic updates, this controller gets better weekly.
