Review of my Classic Edition playthrough:

I had a blast playing this game, until I reached the last few hours.
Oh boy the ending feels very rushed and unpolished.
After more than 100hrs of great entertainment I feel somewhat deceived and left alone with a bad feeling.

Pros:
+ Good game
+ Well written
+ Great character progression
+ Strategic boss fights
+ Impressive voiceacting

Cons:
- Worst ending since Mass Effect 3
- Inventory UI is garbage
- Loading times in coop can be hideous
- Combats are a little slow from time to times

The look and feel of this game really reminds me of the good old 90s Lucas Arts adventures, especially "Indiana Jones: The fate of Atlantis". Which is a great achievement, at least in my book.

Pros:
Dense and charming atmosphere.
Beautiful art style.
Communicating feelings through animated text output.
Good use of sound and sound effects.

Cons:
A little short.

Conclusion:
If you like old school narrative point and click adventures you definitely should try "The Lion's Song" out. I'm really looking forward to the next episode.

Do you know Harvest Moon? Star Dew Valley is pretty similiar, but even better and on PC.

Please don't buy it, you won't be able to stop playing it for days, weeks, ... !
