any criticism of AI aside, this game sucks. like, genuinely. you are thrown into levels with a 4 seconds loop audio while you stare at the piss filter, picking upgrades that do not matter other than arbitrary number go up and you get tons of levels while nothing feels like it comes together. so i can see this game being a homerun for a lot of people. the perfect game for the average gamer, completely devoid of any sort of thought put into it.

e: devs are trying to push this as a "steam deck issue". it is not a steam deck issue. the game is simply not fun. insanely disingenuous.

I asked because we made some closed playtests before and also we're fans of the genre and from feedback from playtests we heard that is enjoyable, so just ask. Sorry if it's sounds offensive - no intention to do anything like that here.

Like for each game, you can just don't like it but it looks like you don't like the idea and it's OK. Also, it could be overally bad game, so we will see. Overally from the data (achievments, playtime) looks good.

About Steam deck - it's unplayable on Deck so that's why I mentioned it.

Anyway, we will see at integrity on systems because making changes in code are pretty fast and thank you for your time and your feedback.

also terribly disingenuous to push the suggestion i don't like the genre. why else would i try the demo...?

it has nothing to do with glitches. your game has no cohesion, the systems suck and it isn't fun.

Hm, it looks like you just don't like the entire concept of the game or something was really wrong (beside your opinions about art and sounds - I agree that good artist will do better, I think for now AI is capable to make average-good-enough level, not great art, and probably without human art supervisor it will be never be able to make good art style).

But the most important thing I see that you played on Steam Deck. Demo is not playable on Steam Deck. Did you be able to walk/move your character? Amount of glitches on Deck could be massive. For now it's only partial controller support and we're working on Deck version.

"it's a core of the game to set up your build" what build im forced to buy spell slots so i can slot even more things and i cannot even get more spells mid game just skill scrolls that seem to do nothing

the equivalent of removing turn-based battles from a turn-based rpg

the systems do not work together. it looks bad. the upgrades are meaningless. the skills feel bad to use. even on lower difficulties/spawn rates you are forced to die to feed souls to the arbitrary skill shop. completely stupid to buy skill slots when the idea of the genre is to get skills and eventually combine them. no synergy between what you can get. the game music is abysmal to listen to. the UI is nonsensical and feels terrible to browse. the map design is abysmal and enemies (and summons) kept getting stuck on stuff. minibosses drop do not feel satisfying. you frequently just shoot into the nodes you can "unlock" on the maps because it prioritizes enemy behind the node so you just lose tons of time. the "art" direction sucks. nothing sticks and feels like you are playing a game in the survivors genre.

none of this feedback will help regardless because you aren't interested in making something fun

Hi again ;)
Thank you for review. Please tell me, are you fan of that kind of games? Because it's a core of the game is set up your build based on spells, look for synergies, and maximize them by those numbers from level ups, so that's the core of the gameplay loop. Do you think that doesn't work or just you don't like that kind of games?
