If you've played the last 3 games, at least FC3, you've played this one.

Still a good game, so if you haven't played the other games, worth the buy on sale

Edit: Got a few more hours under my belt, so gonna go a bit more in depth

Pros:
Environment is definitely well-established.
Scenery, people, culture, and wildlife are all done extremely well, but what's expected from a FarCry game.

Transportation is fun.
Flying is definitely the most fun in any game when going point A to point B. The 'auto-navigate' option was also a nice addition since the first game.

Fluid combat.
Not much to say here. The combat is done right, and the abilities you unlock make it more interesting than just run a gun game.

Cons:
Repetitive.
Basically everything that isn't a campaign mission is repetitive. Whether grinding animal skins, liberating bases, climbing radio towers, taking quests from civilians, and more. It's still fun, but it gets tedious after a while. There is also so much ♥♥♥♥. I like getting 100% completion in games, but FC games seem to be loaded with random ♥♥♥♥ all over the place, your your map will look like a 15-year-olds pubescent face.

No penalty for death.
Most times, you don't even go back to a safe zone, just a meters from where you died like nothing ever happened. If you fail a mission, you simply restart the mission automatically.

Easy upgrade system.
I'm only a 4th way through the game and have crafted most of the items you can, which is nearly everything. Money is really easy to get, so ammo, guns, attachments, maps, and other items are really not a problem.

Wingsuit glitches.
These are rage-inducing. Running off a high ledge sometimes automatically deploys the wingsuit out of nowhere, resulting in death.

Final thought and score
Although there are a lot of cons, overall, worth the buy when on sale. Even if not, still worth a shot.

7/10

Hey just came accross your review and wanted to give a tip on your wingsuit glitch... i have played it a lot and was really frustrated with the wingsuit automatically deploying when jumping off high points but i noticed that this happens only when you keep the sprint button(SHIFT for me) pressed even after jumping. Actually when you jump from a high point without sprinting u can see it asks you to press SHIFT(sprinting button) to deploy the wingsuit. So if you release the SHIFT(sprintbutton) just after you make a running jump then it wont get deployed. Also u can press crouch button(C for me) after the wingsuit is deployed automatically to use the parachute so that u dont die. And also avoid hitting trees with the wingsuit or else u will die.

I hope that helped.
Thanks
