From someone who loves Dishonored and has played it countless times, here's my opinion, with a few comparisons

The atmosphere is amazing, and it's a game that is definitely pleasing to look at. Moreso than Dishonored, but graphics aren't everything. There are a lot of nice elements to the game. Whereas in Dishonored you can run for the most part without being spotted, in this you have to rely heavily on dark areas and crouching. This leads to several tense moments. It's also difficult to defend yourself if you're caught, so you either have to run or use other tactics to distract them away from you. Like in Dishonored, the AI on medium difficulty is lack-luster and follow the rules that if you're in the dark, they don't see you, even if they are staring at you. The dialogue is repeated several times at points as well. The maps are cramped but still a lot to explore even so. Gathering coins feels so satisfying, though the animation can get annoying after picking up a 1000+ items, and checking every nook and cranny for 5 gold. The fact you can't jump seems extremely odd, and is the only thing I have a real problem with. If you could jump and move freely across the maps, I would like this game much more. This is a neutral review, either from the fact it reminds me a lot of a game I adore, or that the pros and cons manage to equal themselves out. I would still reccomend picking it up if and when it goes on sale
