This is an extremely enjoyable physics based climbing game. Once you start to notice your own improvement it becomes addicting and very re-playable which makes the longer run times not as strenuous as they may seem at first. It would be fun to see a game-mode with a much shorter run time that is more challenging at some point as well!

The micro-transactions come across as predatory but the game is pretty fun. Takes some getting used to, not always straight forward.

they only did good things on this re-release. if you liked the first you'll for sure like this game.

THE ONE PIECE IS REAL

This souls-like has mechanics just as strong as any souls game with a better (or at least better told) story.

This is a living, breathing city. It's one of the very few games where that claim is made and actually feels true. Every person has an entire life that they're living. I'm now recognizing people that I see take familiar routes every day. It's pretty crazy tbh. It's SO worth the price if anything about it seems appealing to you.

This game is so simple but a blast to play.

The game respects your time by (nearly) capping runs at 30 minutes, abilities are easily understood, playable characters are diverse and unique, all abilities have a place and allow you to win with different configurations while maintaining difficulty, and most importantly updates are regular and frequent!

I really enjoy this game and I wish it was in a better state than it is however the further I get into the game the more it's short comings reveal themselves.

Things I like about the game:
- The game feel is very well done
- The story is interesting enough to keep me invested
- The world is a beautiful back drop for the mechanics

Things I dislike:
- Pointless traversal cut scenes
- Loading screens as far as the eye can see
- Invisible walls every where and in many places that make no sense
- Figuring out what objects are mountable is a coin toss
- Quest rewards coordinate with the level/world tier you started the quest at rather than the level at which you end the quest.
- Enemy scaling with level, world tier, and party size is truly atrocious in many places especially late game.
- This is the biggest issue for me - you'll increase 1 world tier and suddenly enemies that took a single magazine to kill are taking half your entire ammo capacity.

I really want to love this game and I will likely continue to play until I complete the main story but I can't recommend getting into this game while it's in this state. There's a lot short cuts that seem to have been taken in development especially late game. There's tons of quality of life fixes that would help significantly but that difficulty scaling makes the experience very frustrating.
