Stuck on startup screen with map of cyrodiil..
No shader-compiler starting...
it's doing nothing cpu is going up to 80+% for a few minuts then down to 0%...

Win11
7800X3D (Chipset 7.0.xx Also tried 6.0.xx)..
4070 Super (566.xx, 572.xx, 576.15)..
(Run as administrator applied to OblivionRemastered-Win64-Shipping.exe Tried ON/OFF)
(Disable Fullscreen optimizations tried ON/OFF)

Let it run for 10-15+ min. while grocery shopping...

So now we have to wait 20 Years for a fix....
[FIXED WITH MOD SKIP INTRO!!!] Do modders have to do everything for you???
Leaving Negative Review until i'll played some more..

So now i completet Oblivion RE.. Run's like dogs**t in UE5 tons of crashes, it's a requirement to use DLSS to hit playable framerate. Installed Patch did not change anything besides now atleast map works as it should.
(Took you long enough, modders did your job in a few days..you took forever).

Deleted [No Intro Mod] - And ofc game can't launch still...
Installed [No Intro Mod] Again and works...
I can replicate this on multiple systems.

This is not okay feel's like this game was pushed hard out the door, to combat Skyblivion..(Greed will be your downfall).

Overrated Trash..
Combat is extremly clunky and feel's like your playing a crappy 2D Mortal Combat game, have to turn character with WASD to attack in another direction instead of just looking at a target. Claw is trash useless.

Got to the first tutorial "Expedition" that's like free roam... an NPC keep's yelling at me "HEY OVER HERE"!!
Meanwhile i'm hunting monster's & gathering plants... 5sec later again "HEY OVER HERE"
I know it's tutorial an maybe they want to "teach" me something overthere where NPC is but i'm sick of it....

Also doing a mission i kill a larger monster, but before i get to gather monster parts and such.. timer start's saying 10sec... But i'm instantly told "Quest Completet!" teleported to Hub...

HUD is so outdated, useless & confusing... Side Quests info where? Bounty? jesus..

I'm lucky i got this in a bundle for less then 10€ together with MH:Rise and 2 other games because there is no way i would pay even 0.01€ for this by itself....

Ohh Yes forgot DON'T EXPECT Voice acting it's a few lines each, even the main quest one...

Fun Tank Game.

Mission 3 was a nightmare because for some reason allies died out of the blue had to restart 3 times.

The Tanks are well done really liked the Pz.IV Auf F2 - Panther - Tiger 1 - Tiger P
Tiger 2 Sadly getting this tank at the end of game where there is nothing else to do feels wrong like your cheated out of the efforts & requiments to get it.

The first few tanks are garbage, but the pz.iv Auf. F2 is good
Would highly req. Upgrading crew for penetration value because as you go on enemy tanks can take a beating.

Sadly, it's not all good the render-range is HORRIBLE.. And for a 2021 Game there has been put 0 effort into making environment look decent or just put more into it, it feel like driving in a desert..

Also some invisible walls here & there :(

My Biggest Negativity is the DLC's should have been free or lower price 0.49€ - 0.99€ it's just tanks even if it's something like the Maus & Ferdi...

Kind of a hidden gem.

Game was Great.
Story was confusing in the beginning kind of a "Let's throw you in the deep end and see if you can swim"

You start out on a spaceship called "Hermes" moving towards an Alien Ship, we all seen this movie we'r gonna upload a virus to the mothership.... no i'm just kidding.. ;P

The melee fighting is disappointing, but the dark soul shooting feels satisfying.

The game is very linear with a few extra area's to explore.. after just playing a big open world explore/loot game this felt perfectly fine. I never felt like "arh now i have to do this or why do i need to do this"

Overall i really enjoyed playing Scars Above.

Also finally a game where you can get most/all Achievements without having to replay the game 1000 times...


I will say my game crashed 1 time after upgrading the last Ability i needed an for some reason when i got into the game again it remembered it but forgot to give me Achievement game was kinda bugged until end credits and quit game - reload and pling! :)

Most likely the best game i played in a while BUT beware it's FAR from complete or Perfect.

The atmosphere in this game is chilling and the constant storms along with emissions sell's the desperation of trying to survive, exploring and salvage.
I completly forgot about the main quest in the beginning an started exploring and hunting for stash's..

Pro's.:

- Visuals.
- Audio.
- Atmosphere.
- Gameplay! & Story.
- Weapons/Armor.
- Upgrades.
- Challenges & Puzzles.
- Secrets.


Cons.:

- Night/Day Cycle (Sell items & Upgade along with Sorting took maybe 15-20 min In Real Life but in-game it was already 8+ hours later.. but nights can be hours in real life).

- Bugs/Glitches (Still getting patches so take with grain of salt).

- Inventory (Auto Sort after talking to Trader annoying, Some items weight is insane).

- Durability Weapon/Armor (Well there is no Durability weapon can be destroyed from 100% -> 89% within 1 fight / 30 bullets later that's some bad weapons).

- Economy broken (Repair Cost will still cost you a kidney, weapons & items in-game sell for nothing).

- A-Life "2.0" (Honesly was working better before patch for me, Sure npc's random spawn was bad but now i can clear a room and look back and ALL respawn. Also had area where Wards & Monolith was fighting 6-7 of each then spawned in 3 bloodsuckers).

- Stealth (Well there is NO stealth enemy's hear you even crouched, and they will see you even in dark rooms).

- No continue of gameplay after Main Quest Completion :( So i don't think 59.99€ should be the price honetly they wasted an opportunity here... don't think i will reload save to just play now.

Had to use mods to deal with.:
- Inventory weight,
- Stealth,
- Durability,
- Repair Cost.
Because i did not see changes fast for these things.

The game itself is not perfect even with all the work Stalker Team is doing with has been a lot!..
Started with release version 1.0 and i got stuck because everytime i entered Zalissya game crashed.
Also later game-in Zalissya door to Town Hall was locked and NPC's inside got bugged had to use UE Tool console :(

But with all that aside after all the patches i only ran into a few glitches like texture, an a few anomalies that bugged game.

The Performance in places are BAD drops down to 5-15fps.
But mostly stable 76-91fps in 1440p with a mix of Epic/High Settings.

Played on.: 7800X3D, 64GB DDR5 6400CL30, RTX 4070 Super (Driver 566.14), SN850X NvMe.

Still the same great game i remember from childhood...

PAY 2 WIN GREEDY PILE OF *****!

Not a bad game, just NOT a good game either.

Pros.:
- Character Creation with lot's of options.
- Very Nice Graphics specially the Environments & Characters.
- Can Feed & Play with random Animals.

Cons.:
- My character with staff does a Michael Jackson Moonwalk to get into skill range completly stiff like a board :/ [Would be okay if character stopped, but he goes into close combat range].
- With stable connection enemy's still magically teleport on top on me.
- Side Quests are not shown on map nor is the blue quest star for npc quest givers.
- Settings! Turning off "Combat Music" and it still plays. Had to turn off ALL Music even the peaceful BGM.
- NO ADDITIONAL SKILL BAR...? (You get 3 Quick Bars but they are not quick when your fighting & using skills.) - Just wanted multible Skill Bar like Aion that way i could bind them to like ALT+1, CRTL+1 But i guess i'm stuck with silly 12 Skill's that are useless in bigger combo's because i can't use the rest with them NO ROOM IN SKILL BAR!
- Weapon Swap System... or not. Basically when swapping weapons nothing happens one weapon may get some slight stats change for being "offhand" but nothing major. Honestly this one bothers me.
- Crafting System is a joke along with upgrading.
- Skill upgrade don't really change skill that much.
- Weapon "Mastery" is laughable (I used Staff/Daggers, under Mastery "Poison" nothing to do with poison. Same under Staff.

Neutral.:
- Gameplay (Honestly did not know where to put it, it's not bad bad but do feel clunky from time to time.

And this comes from a person that love NCsoft Games. (Aion, Lineage 2).

Game feel's like a half-baked Early Beta with an identity crisis.

Bad "Diablo" Clone.

First thing for me was that i had to go all the way into the game itself past selection screen just to change "Option" while music is blowing in my face. What is this the 90's?

And after the "Prologue" i just could not go on anymore... The Voice Acting was horrible! Sounded forced like the actor did not care.

Thank God I only used 3€ On this in a bundle.

Really wanted to like Soulstice, but they shot themself in the foot with the camera angles.

Pros.:
- Beautiful Environment / Art.
- Story!
- Music

Cons.:
- THAT DAMN CAMERA! IT AWFUL (I have played games with awful camera before "I Thought" but compared to soulstice, then those games had flawless camera controls. It's just outright BAD! Horrible! Disgusting!
- Gameplay. (This goes here thanks to camera).
- Combo / Union. (Also Camera fault).
- Challenges. (Don't Bother).
- Default Controls (Keyboard Controls Default Settings make mouse attack bottoms but with 0 camera control this is useless just bind them to something else).

Thanks to the bad Camera that's ALL over the place it's not just normal fights that's annoying, but the boss fights are a pain. Not to mention just running around doing platforming.

I really tried but i got a headache in on chapter because of the spining around so i had to find "movie" on Youtube to see rest of story & ending. Because i found it interesting and really wanted to know.

I really want a sequel too know what happens, but at the same time if they keep that drunk camera hope they never will.
