Horrible, abhorrent mess. Runs worse than a gibbon on Mars. I mean sure, the graphics are decent, but literally nothing else about this game is. Zombies spawn around the rotten village every 8 second and there are literally less bullets than zombies available. Crafting tables are only available in specific location, so you walk around wasting all your ammo on the same enemies, only to get to the table, craft more and then waste everything all over again within the span on 1 minute just to get back to where you were previously. Vile, horrid, putrid. Some enemy get stunlocked by melee weapons so you can just keep spam-clicking until they drop dead and it looks like a Bud Spencer and Terrance Hill movie where people get slapped in the face repeatedly, other times on the other hand there's a random bat that is hellbent on biting only you and will never give up and is harder to kill than a mosquito in a dark room, especially due to the low FPS (on a RTX 4080).

Annoying, tedious and also buggy. Do not buy, do not play even for free. I'd rather receive a wedgie with a strip of barbed wire.

Arrogant game, made by a person with a fetish to make a "rigged" experience. The game is also plagued with annoying bugs that further hinder the experience, like the player getting randomly killed for no reason (confirmed), hack minigames with not nearly enough minimum time even if you make zero mistakes and copy-pasting no longer working after a certain point. It plays out in an unfair way and is very heavily based on RNG. 2 runs in a row and wiki link 2 spawned on DollMaker, it's ridiculous. You CAN win, but you just need to get very lucky on multiple fronts, that's pretty much it. So essentially it's a dice roll every time until you get lucky.

I beat the game, but my opinion doesn't change in the slightest. It's like being happy you managed to swallow a turd. Nothing to be proud about.

I mean, the gameplay is a gimmick because all you literally do is try to find a way to cheese/glitch the game as to skip the killer interaction or reduce it to a minimum by accumulating all the items in one spot and then destroying everything all at once. That's literally it. Lame, boring redundant.

At the slightest sound you make you will hear a gasp, as if someone saw Ted Cruz naked. If you proceed to make another sound within a certain timeframe of that gasp, female leatherface will appear out of nowhere and literally seperate your buttocks from one another. This goes on on for about 80% of the game, including cutscenes. Somewhat bugg.y but overall OK game. A little rough around the edges. PS: someone gave sleeping pills to the dog.

Got frowned at by potatohead zombie. Would wander around in the dark again. 14/10.

One of the few times where the remake outclasses the original. I enjoyed this a lot.
