"Time Gentlemen, Please!" is the sequel to "Ben There, Dan That!" and while latter was as far as I am concerned 90/10 funny/crass, this one makes it to maybe 60/40, or even anywhere from 40/60 to 10/90 if just not in the mood.

It is also a lot harder and longer; while BTDT takes probably 3 or 4 hours to run through, less than double that for TGP would be fast. But that's to say that the puzzling is in fact often pretty good (even if equally often silly) and most genre fans should at least together with BTDT enjoy this.

Yet my 36 hours of playtime here says this to be one of those games where I was for 75% or more alt-tabbed to the desktop due to being too tired of it. Laughed once or twice but will remember the many more cringes more. Still a recommend -- but it wouldn't have been without BTDT.

That was better than expected: actually a game and for the most part actually funny. Worth the 3 or so hours.

I actively love the (backgrounds-) art style. Got it moreover for free as a Steam-giveaway and was for the first or so hour planning on a definite recommend. Unfortunately the writing on this is below the level even of a dime-store romance novel, and I can not in good conscience recommend anyone sit through that.

Would not have enjoyed this as a movie and would not have expected that I would as a "game" but I in fact pretty much did. "Original" let's say.

Anywhere from 2 to 6 hours, depending on the level of exploring you do. Well worth the 0,89€ I spent on it. Maybe not much more, and maybe not if you're young enough to have the nineties count as purely historical jank, but may give this a chance otherwise.

Annoyed me slightly less than The 7th Guest! Although admittedly that's probably only due to The 7th Guest preparing me for the level of jank to expect...

Oh well.

I reviewed another game some time ago as having "some of the worst puzzles in puzzle-adventure history".

I had seen nothing yet.

Amazingly well-crafted (and fairly hard) puzzles. Looking forward to chapter 2.

A puzzle-box game in the tradition of The Room, although with significantly easier puzzles. Some in fact little more than observing/understanding the puzzle mechanic, and the fact that this is still a very enjoyable game has one appreciate how well The Room did/does its thing even more I say. Beautiful visuals, and a good way to while away between 4 and 8 hours.

Same issue as with "In Sound Mind" from this same developer: the "enemies" suck the fun right out.
