Additionally, I haven’t given up on the idea of suing Steam over their inaction on this matter (maybe by posting the specific rules that that intentionally malicious comment broke, maybe they’ll be included to do something about it now, although I’m more included to expect they will show further support for the attacks by those trolls that started this 2+ years boycott against Steam), I’m still searching for a lawyer that is willing to take the case with the payment of legal fees options that are available to me.

Steam management made it a point not to do anything about the slander, so I made it a point to address it in that thread of comments myself. I’m expecting more retaliation out of this, in addition to likely more support from Steam management in the attacks from those malicious Steam users. I am keeping documents of every action taken (by the trolls & Steam management) & expecting further publications to be made.

Malicious statements in that original thread where this targeted harassment started has sat long enough on the Steam website that it is now being adapted into Google AI's responses. This has prompted the opening of another support ticket with Steam support, this time with threats of a likely injunction against the targeted harassment in that thread that Steam keeps allowing to happen (despite multiple reports filed through the standard community reporting system that are never acted on).

Correction attempts have already been filed with Google as well, however the injunction may include Google if they don't correct the issues that their AI is allowing to happen.

This purchase at least gives me access to the Invasion DLC on GOG (which is 1 more than I have on Steam, now making GOG the primary account to play it on), however I will still need to wait for the Wonderworld DLC to be released on GOG before I will be able to acquire it on the now preferred PC platform...

Just repurchased Craft The World on GOG (along with all available DLC, however it appears they still haven't released Wonderworld on GOG yet). I could have just purchased the 2 DLC that I was missing on Steam (even going as far as looking at other 3rd-party sites to purchase activation keys for those DLC, however was unable to find anything outside of the core game on those sites), but was unwilling to let Steam have my current payment information due to the ongoing attacks originating by trolls here on Steam & affecting my other online accounts, profiles, channels & servers (stating that this boycott would continue until every large-scale player in those organized attacks had received community bans), so I bit the bullet & got everything available for the game on GOG while it was still on sale (a lot more than I wanted to spend to re-acquire them on a more acceptable platform, but it was still better than full price).

Additional abuse appears to be those users are now leaving troll responses on my videos/screenshots on my Steam profile. I don't intend on disabling comments, but I will continue to block those people, delete those comments & report those accounts as it continues. I've also made it a point to mention in those reports that this issue is going to be reported to the police with the intention of having arrests made for harassment, internet stalking & doxing against me since October of 2023 and that they can expect to receive a subpoena in the near future. The original thread where this all started is also being linked in every report filed to Steam (not that I expect them to do anything about it when they chose to re-victimize somebody who was already getting attacked by well over 50 people over multiple sites starting with that thread, but this will just result in a higher fine when they are found guilty for not protecting their users & contributing to the actions of the aggressors).

I will also be updating reviews I have written on Steam on various other domains to point out the unfavorable situation & hostile environment by other users that Steam appears to support through revictimization actions.

I will also be updated the hyperlink restrictions on my personal site to remove Steam from whitelisted domains, now being categorized as a blacklisted domain, any links from any Steam domain will now return a message that the user is banned from the site based on referral traffic. Any links to the site that may have been in video descriptions or screenshot/video comments here on Steam will need to be changed to go to different site.

This action by Steam also blacklists any further broadcasting of Steam-exclusive games on my Twitch channel. Steam versions of those games may still be broadcasted provided they are not exclusive to Steam, however obviously I will not be giving links to Steam versions to be purchased by viewers.

Additionally I intend on contacting some of the news stations that have contact methods to ask why Steam, YouTube & Twitch has not been included in the social media laws (or at least not mentioned as of yet) that are mentioned in the article located at https://www.consumernotice.org/legal/social-media-harm-lawsuit ; perhaps they'll make it a point to air a response in one of their future broadcasts (I can think of one that will likely take on the task of responding, other channels will probably be unlikely) & perhaps mention these platforms by name why they don't seem to be affected by those laws (at least not yet, but perhaps they will after being contacted about this revictimization issue & bringing the excessive harassment issue to the attention of lawmakers).

Taking this a step further, it's been determined that now I HAVE to get the police involved... I will be contacting them later today after the new articles regarding Steam's willful contribution to the harassment in the aforementioned thread by backing up their actions with restrictions being put in place on this account.

Additionally, there WILL be additional articles published to my personal site as a result of Steam deciding to become a contributing factor to the mass-harassment in the thread located at https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198090867376/recommended/2497900 , including a boycott that has been decided is necessary on any further Steam purchases (these were already on hold anyways because of the OS cutoff, now there's no longer any consideration in further Steam purchases even once I get Windows 10 running on a separate hard drive to be able to continue accessing what I already own). The boycott may end if they ever step in on the harassment that is happening in this thread (including actions against the accounts that were a part of it), but I don't expect that to happen until they are contacted by law enforcement regarding the harassment in that thread.

In response to the revictimization by Steam (resulting in a temporary block of my Summary & changing of my actual name, which was going to be removed anyways as a result of this action), I've made a decision similar to what I had to do with Amazon & this is to remove ALL additional voluntary information from my Steam profiles.

Final action of the night against this harassment was to file a report against the review itself, stating the following:

"The review is not what I am reporting (outside of the fact that this can't really be consider a review, it's clearly an attempt to be funny, which is what ruins any functionality of the review system on Steam & pushes me to other site to find accurately informative reviews that can aid in a decision to purchase a game), it's the onslaught of targeted harassment that now has me discussing legal actions in response to a lack of action to put this continued harassment to an end."

I may start going through the access logs on my personal website looking for IP addresses that are doing excessive viewing & start banning IP addresses (given this appears to be where most of the doxing efforts are being targeted based on the comments in that thread of harassment). I suspect they are probably attempting to compromise the security of the website, so I expect I will be placing some more IP bans & listing more IPs in the Hacking IP blacklist as this harassment that Steam appears to be ignoring (at least for the most part) continues.

In any case, if it was an individually reported comment they acted on, this means that Steam is already aware of the mass-harassment in that thread of comments & gives some hope that they "may" act before they receive the cease & desist order (not that I'm expecting much, so this is still going to be discussed in a conference between my lawyer & the police until I see something done about it).

Looking at my messages, I noticed that I had received a message from Steam stating the following:

"Thanks for reporting a comment

A comment you reported has been reviewed and action has been taken. Thank you for helping to make the Steam Community a better place."

The 2 profiles that were reported as far as I can tell have not been penalized (might have been one of the individual comments I reported in that string of attacks on the anti-review), so I am still seeking legal action filed against Steam if the harassment continues.

This user still has not publicly joined the trolling in that anti-review, so they still are not being added to the Steam Troll blacklist, but have been blocked on Steam for joining the Discord server during the escalation period. 2 reports have already been filed to Steam, of which they still have not stepped in on the issue, so at this point I am seeking to have my lawyers contact them with a cease & desist order for inaction to stop the continued harassment, followed by a lawsuit & police reports being filed if they do not take action in response to the cease & desist order.

"Position of joining server was expected to be coherent (an escalation from not banning you before) in the doxing now happening by Steam trolls in the "review" that is expected to have lead you to joining the server. A cease & desist order is now being discussed with a lawyer to be issued against Steam for lack of action against the continued harassment."

A day or 2 ago, I noticed a user with the username of Sounder_ join my Discord server, believed to be the user at steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198069457882 & a friend to the invidual that published a game "review" (or lack thereof, it was more of an attempt to be funny, as most "reviews" tend to go on Steam). The trolling in that thread of comments on the review has escalated to attempts at doxing, of which Steam has still not taken care of the issue. While this user who joined the server originally was not banned, it was expected they were gathering information in this doxing effort by the trolls, so they ultimately were banned tonight giving the following reason: (see next post)

Of course, anybody on my Steam block list is ineligible for giveaways of Steam items through my Twitch channel (Steam activation keys accounting for most of my StreamElements store) when I am able to get back to streaming. I didn't want to tie in review ignorance into that disqualification, but it seems after the extensive conflict last night, this will be a better alternative than getting retaliation when a comment is left on those "reviews".

After a mass of conflict over last night, I've decided it's time to start blocking anybody writing reviews that clearly don't know what a review is (this is anybody using the area for a review just to try & be funny). The review system on Steam has been rendered almost COMPLETELY useless by individuals who do this & I've found that putting blocks on those people negate their reviews from being seen, so this seems to be the only way to find useful reviews on Steam once all the "poor attempts of humor" are weeded out (of course I honestly don't believe that the Steam ignore list will be capable of this task, we'll just have to see if I end up hitting a limit later down the line; my ignore list is already at 281 people, I guess I'll find out the limit in a few days, if not within a few hours).

For those who are trying to gift me something over Steam, I am going to have to tell you it would be better to safe your money or gift it to somebody else... The reason I say this is because I've already had to turn down an activation key that was offered to me, stating that I didn't even know if I was still going to have access to the games on my account after the OS cutoff goes into affect on 1/1/2024. About the only gift I could accept now if it were to be towards Steam would be a copy (or key) for Windows 10 to secure that I'll still have access to my library after the Windows 7 cutoff that Steam is imposing to be able to continue running their PC client...

Despite getting a sales alert over the Steam mobile app for a game that's been on my wishlist for years, the "doomsday clock" at the top of my PC Steam client prevents me from purchasing from Steam any further until I know I'm not going to be cut off from my accounts; I will be doing most of my PC game purchases over GOG (at least until they also decide to kill running of their client on Windows 7) until I know I'm not in any danger of losing access to my Steam game collections.

Additionally, I'm going to start de-associating my Steam account from my other online accounts (or at least hiding that association if the option is available) & removing links to Steam as I'm not going to be recommending Steam versions of games while this kill switch still has the potential to cut me off from being able to use what's on my accounts.

Until the whole OS situation is sorted out with Steam, I will be shutting off the PC Steam client when it is not in use (normally it runs nearly 24/7 on my PC in invisible mode, their decision to implement a kill switch on OSs under Windows 10 now limits my reasons in keeping it running). I will still have the mobile app running on my phone, so I can still receive messages if friends try to get a hold of me.

I keep my OS pretty tight on security, so I don't worry too much about it. But this step by Steam is now forcing my hand, I don't have any trust that I'll still be able to access what I already own on Steam, which according to my spending records is well over $5303.65 (not including activated keys purchased/obtained from other sites or purchased on my secondary account).

I have a backup plan on acquiring a copy of Windows 10 if I have to take it, but I would rather not take that route; given I'm not willing to put any more money into Microsoft after they blacklisted my personal site & Twitch blog on Bing & it doesn't appear they are offering free upgrades to legitimate Windows 7 owners anymore, I will take that route if my hand is forced...

That's a drastic step. Isn't it dangerous to keep an older OS though, since Microsoft will stop supporting it?

I logged into Steam today after restarting my PC, noticed the red banner at the top of the Steam client stating "Steam will stop running on Windows 7 in 238 days." While I am attempting to get the free update to go through on Window 7 to Windows 10, I am not having any luck in doing so & until I can confirm I will still be able to run what I already own on Steam, I will NOT be purchasing anything further on Steam (I may even be filing for some refunds).

The Game Collector section on this profile typically shows the last 12 games I played on Steam, but negates adult games & blacklisted games due to boycotts, so the Twitch list is perhaps more detailed (at least I can choose which games to add store links on on my Twitch channel). Note that I no longer give links to Amazon anymore as they have also blacklisted my personal site from being show on my Amazon profile; Amazon sometimes rejects my reviews, so sometimes I have to publish those rejected reviews to my personal site instead & this was the reason for attempting to share a link to my personal site on Amazon, my removing additional profile information from my Amazon profile & removing links to their site from my other profiles was my response to that action by Amazon).

As for online activity on Steam, I'm typically ALWAYS online (the PC client almost always online in invisible mode & on the phone 24/7 while it's at least powered on & not being rebooted), so any friends I do have can almost always get a hold of me at almost any time (maybe not with an immediate response, but I should always receive it & usually get back to people).

Been hitting the roguelikes quite a bit lately. If you look at my Twitch channel, there's a Game Lists section on there, the list that states "Games recently played without being streamed", that's perhaps the most up to date & kept the most up to date of my recent gaming history (outside of the occasional adult game, which don't get listed there or on my Steam profile). Probably been playing on the Switch the most lately. Hoping to get back to streaming again in the near future (once I get these health issues taken care of), however what I'll be streaming is going to be significantly different when I do, given the boycotts I started against Epic Games & Microsoft (details in the blacklists linked on my Steam profile) have blacklisted a bunch of games by other developers that got caught in the crossfire of their actions in the changes to Fortnite & the blacklisting of my personal site & Twitch/YouTube blog on Bing (and other search engines "powered by bing")...

What do you regularly play anyway?

Honestly, I don't really care about the badges or the emotes, the only reason I do participate in crafting the badges is for the backgrounds (the one thing I do care about), which now I could just purchase with points gained when I purchase games (although in most cases I won't if I am unable to receive cards for those games).

If there was any other reason of interest that I would have for crafting the badges, I guess that would be the increase in friend slots at higher profile levels (which increases as you craft more badges). Of course I leave my friend list low to avoid trolls & others only looking to cause problems, so typically the only people I add to my friend list are those that have proven themselves decent in games I have played on Steam or people I already know over other platforms or in real life; short version, I may not even need those additional friend slots, but it would be good to have them when I need them.

It could be cards are just getting lost in the system, but they are still cards I can't use towards crafting a badge. A glitch in Steam's system is entirely possible, they ultimately outcome on my side is the same however, they are cards I don't have access to that I should. I've noticed this in a few games over the years (probably more I'm not aware of), the most recent one I noticed it in was A.R.E.S. (history states that I've gained 3 cards through drops, but I currently only have 1 & no badge crafted for this game yet).

I do still have that spreadsheet I was using with the SteamTradeMatcher group/site, I can probably determine what cards are missing if I happened to log what cards I had prior to them disappearing

Is it really possible someone is stealing your cards? Isn't more likely there is a glitch from an update?

I've noticed that cards in my inventory appear to have come up missing (despite not having the badge yet & my drop history saying that I should have more cards in those games). Because it appears they may be getting stolen (possibly through an exploit in Steams system), I have changed visibility of inventory to Friends Only. I've also decided to remove the Item Showcase & Items Up For Trade sections from my profile.

The "Option to hide specific games from profile" thread located at https://steamcommunity.com/discussions/forum/10/2865910147606189246 is currently locked & hidden with the following message at the top of the thread:

"This topic is awaiting analysis by our automated content check system. It will be temporarily hidden until we verify that it does not contain harmful content (e.g. links to websites that attempt to steal information)."

Lots of problems attempting to purchase Age of Wonders: Planetfall Platinum Edition today, was getting ready to purchase it over GOG instead (same sale) because I couldn't get the order to go through on Steam. I had all the payment information filled in on GOG ready to push it through, took one final try on Steam & it went through before I decided to put through the order on GOG. Nobody should have to spend near an hour trying to get a single order to go through, people will start going to other platforms that aren't having that same platform, I almost did that today to get around it.
