Greatly exceeded my expectations. I was honestly very cautious about my expectations about this game judging from trailers and how average the second half of resident evil 7 was, but I am very pleased to say RE8 is fantastic in almost every aspect. It is an excellent survival horror FPS that does alot of things almost perfectly. I do wish the boss fights were a bit more complex and a bit more challenging, but these judgments are based off of playing the game on Standard difficulty, I might think differently about that on harder difficulties though. The graphics are absolutely amazing and pleased that the PC Port is stellar and runs wonderfully on my average gaming laptop on high settings at 60fps.
