Holds up incredibly well even in 2024-2025. Great gun-play and enjoyable mechanics with the vigors.

Definitely worth picking up if you're into story driven open world games.

Dangerously addictive game.
It does rely on you to make your own adventures half the time, but with a proper crew and some smart decision making, it'll be a blast.
With the most recent updates, several dangers were added to the open sea, making going from point A to point B much less boring, and more of a 'avoid certain death' simulator.

My single complaint about the minute to minute gameplay is that the controls could use work, but they're updating those currently as well. It's getting smoother and smoother, and I can't see there being a lull in content any time soon.

Great game. Lots to do, lots to learn. I recommend giving it a shot, and going in blind. Half the fun in the game is figuring out what you can make and what to fight next. And with a variety of builds a single character can have, it certainly has replay value.
