I have already watched someone else's Mouthwashing game play prior to getting it myself, which made me get it.
The game grasps the characters emotions, complex mindsets and their situation perfectly as it also conveys these to the player. The soundtrack doesn't necessarily aid or carry the emotions and situations but rather compliments them to immerse the player further into the scene and feel what the characters are feeling in the moment.

There are small and fine details which do seem unimportant at first but the more you invest and analyse into the story and it's atmosphere the more it carries these little hints of emotions and also the details of the crew members which make the ship lived in and also moreover a place that drives one insane with each loss and slowly let one seep into the gravity of the situations. Such like in the small notes and drawings in medical which show that Anya isn't just what is shown in the game, where she does seem objectified (which is in my opinion probably in Jimmy's viewpoint but my perception could be wrong) from the players perspective.

Anyways, it's a rather short game yet I'm willing to play it over and over again just to experience and gain a deeper understanding of these characters and just to experience the setting itself again.
