This game is actually not bad, even though people complain about it. The multiplayer is really fun and makes me keep coming back. The movement feels great and the gunplay is phenomenal. The modernized feel of Halo just feels right. When I originally downloaded this game it was my first time playing Halo in about 3 years, and it brought me back to the franchise. I personally don’t mind the in game shop because it means I can get cool cosmetics for my spartan and drip him out in bling. In game shops don’t really bother me.

The campaign is also amazing. I actually LOVE the story despite what people have said. The open world take on Halo is actually really fun plus I can just fool around whenever I want. The campaign is refreshing from Halo 5 from what I have seen even though I haven’t played the Halo 5 campaign. The starting cutscene is awesome and had me on the edge of my seat wanting more. The scene where Master Chief is saved from floating in the infinite abyss actually gave me a special type of feeling. Seeing the marine that was stuck in space and seeing his kid and wife, and then seeing him after time has gone by was kind of emotional. Then when he found Chief you could feel his excitement that he was getting saved. Overall the campaign is actually AMAZING.

Although I wasn’t around when the game originally released and even though I wasn’t there at the original, unfinished state that the game was at during release, I can confidently say this game is in a really good state right now. It stays true to what Halo should be (I’m looking at you, Halo TV show). Actually an amazing game full of enticing and emotional moments.

TL;DR The game in the current state is very good and the campaign is phenomenal. I definitely recommend, it is worth your time. 10/10
