It's awesome. I didn't think I'd like the background/foreground shooting but it's handled well and really ups the difficulty. Metal Slug-ish cross with Wild Guns-ish. A lot of fun!

Modernized old school beat'm up with tag mechanics. Hell yea

Surface level is fairly simple to pick up and play.
But like our mans Shrek, many layers the deeper you look.
Really good game, severely under appreciated.

Cool Game. Seems to share an amount with PoE, a more bite sized version of their systems; but put in a roguelike game. Boss fights are fun with cool patterns and attacks on higher difficulties. Bit of strategy as to how you move from room to room. You can backtrack but are being pursued after a short timer which doesn't mean death, just added difficulty until you make it to the boss room and clear the floor. i Suck absolute ass with the melee heroes but they are fun all the same. Ranged heroes, sorry, dreamers, are a bit easier to manage with different but also fun builds. Yea man, cool game.

Story line and presentation similar to Nier. Stylized like a DMC/Bayonetta game. Combat handles sort of like a souls type but quite a bit more forgiving (no one shot, larger frame windows). Runs solid, 0 crashes 165fps no drops. Hell yea dude.

I should be able to play? Won't run for more than 5-10 minutes at a time without video freezing while audio remains. Could be in game, could be in a menu - doesn't matter. 1 hour of game time, 4 hours of trying to fix this issue. Sad, DOOM 2016 is top 5 games of all time for me.

I laughed. I cried. I was given hope. I was in the deepest depths of despair. Witnessed the most beautiful and serene and the most deplorable and disturbed sights. It is a constant juxtaposition of these two ends of the spectrum. I am profoundly impacted by the questions posed and the themes explored. Visually spectacular. Sonically blissful. Thematically acute....

And the game mechanics are a breath of fresh air. This game wears it's inspiration on it's sleeve and pays tribute to games of yore while doing something so profound that it will impact this genre of gaming forever.

I maybe get to enjoy something of this caliber once or twice in a lifetime. I wish I could experience it for the first time all over again.
