Birds are EXTREMELY IMPORTANT animals in video games!
Birds are a diverse group of playable characters or NPCs, and their bright pixels, distinct songs and audio lines, and showy animations add enjoyment to our levels. Birds are very visible, quite common, and offer easy opportunities to earn XP from slaying their diverse plumage and AI behaviors. Because of this, birds are popular to many who pursue video game playing and watching activities.
In fact, gaming with birds is the fastest growing e-sport according to the 2022 survey of mobs, npcs, and quest chains. We as gamers spend over 2 billion dollars on ammo, consumabls, and equipment repairs just to hunt birds in video games! Adding all wildlife watching equipment together, including: Bird-Hide Leather Jackets, Birdnoculars, Anti-Bird Firearms Scopes, and much, much more. Gamers spent nearly 20 billion dollars paying to win against birds! In Silicon Valley alone, we spend some 36 million dollars on bird art assets!
