This is everything I wanted from a proper Fantasy Life sequel and more. Barely scratched the surface and I can already tell Hino and all of Level-5 rescued this game from the clutches of Inafune's terrible track record.

Beautiful yet simple art design. Runs flawlessly at 1440p at 60+fps on my setup (Ryzen 7 7800X3D, Radeon 7800XT). I've seen there are currently issues with some super ultra wide resolutions so I wanted to mention that for those users.

Gameplay is just like Fantasy Life on the 3DS but refined and polished to an insane degree. All of the sounds and music are back and better than ever and it's just nostalgia gut punches one after another.

I'm really enjoying the focus on a more substantial main story along with the amazing Life stories. I'm already stanning the Magician Life Master Oz.

Highly recommended. It should be a no brainer instant purchase if you were a fan of the original.

16 Hour Review Check-in: I'm hopelessly addicted. Review still holds true to everything above plus some. The ONLY con I can think of are the crafting mini games not being exactly like they were in FL1 BUT they're done so much faster and less tedious so that's also a positive.
