If it leaves you 2 choices on the ghost, read back in the journal to where theres each ghost type. Read about their strengths, weaknesses and just their information. Think back to the times that match like how often the ghost attacked or when specifically did the ghost attack you.

I was left with 2 choices and after reading the journal again, i managed to identify the ghost because it said that the demon attacks the most often and the ghost did attack me and my friends like 6 times in 2 minutes.

You gotta use your brain for that part.
