Super chill explore/build game, especially with friends. Always something wacky to find despite the desolation of the planets, its the subtle things :3

Looking forward to seeing what comes in the future, but even for now, an easy 8/10

Super fun Hack & Slash style game with a colourful cast of characters from the Fate series. Definitely alot of fun and definitely replayable.

Pro's:

  • Large variability of combat styles and combinations of attacks & skills
  • Plenty of levels and bonus challenges to try and complete for that nice 100%
  • A fun PvP gamemode vs other players in 4v4 combat
  • Fan Service (idk man, I think its a good Pro :v)

Con's:

  • A good soundtrack, but also fairly limited on its tracks. Could have some more
  • Could have some more variety in enemies. The ones in are good, but it gets a bit repetitive

Overall its definitely an enjoyable experience. Makes you work for perfect completion on most levels, but its also not unbearably difficult to learn or master. If you enjoy Hack & Slash, I'd definitely say pick it up and give it a go!

Early Access Review
So I saw this game the moment it went live on Steam and purchased it. My initial thoughts were it feels like a Stardew Valley / Minecraft hybrid.

20 hours later, and I can definitely say, despite it being in Alpha stages, its already great fun with lots of creative freedom and very little issues.

Okay, on to the Pro's & Con's:

Pro's:

> Large variety of building materials and crafting recipes. Plenty of customization
> Fitting ambient soundtrack to compliment the easy pace of the games progress
> Seasonal events for cool exclusive items. Gives you some initiative to grab them
> Freedom to expand / construct whatever you want, whenever you want
> NPC's with humourous dialogue. Little quality of life touches

Con's:

> Game will sometimes spike your GPU usage to 80%+ for unknown reasons
> Steam Achievements currently are buggy and don't seem to work properly
> Rare times the game will gradually drop your FPS if in multiplayer (have to close/reopen server to fix)
> Most structures are static (I hope they become more interactive later on, but yeah)

Overall:

Staxel is pretty damn fun and a good way to sink your day into. It has alot of fun quirks, and a few issues, but so do all Early Access games. LOTS of potential to be a solid title. Deffo give it a go, and support it if you enjoy it as much as I do :v

Well there isn't much to say about Montaro, but lets summarize:

You are Doge. You kill Crows with rolling. You also collect Panties off School-Girls.

Pro's:

> Super casual. Play as a boredom killer or while waiting on another task to finish
> Fitting audio. Simple, yet so in place
> Panties...? Yeah, lets make that a Pro.

Con's:

> Could use more variety in its elements (different speeds for girls walking, different level designs, etc)
> Lacks a Panty counter (since you basically have to get all 802 in one sitting)

Overall its really fun, but yeah, could use some more diversity for some replayability.

Would also like to see more costumes added sometime :P

Overall:
9/10

Also... totally didn't race 2 of my friends to see who could get the 802 Panties Achievement first :v

So Battleborn, the oh-so critically acclaimed "bad game"... well, hopefully this Review helps encourage people to try out this foreshadowed Gem Masterpiece

So what is Battleborn?

Battleborn is an awesome Co-Op / Versus by Gearbox (makers of Borderlands) set thousands of years in the future, where the universe has 1 star left. A bunch of groups are defending it and keeping the last light on, while the Jennerit, a race from the planet Tempest, are set to see it destroyed (they're basically Vampires honestly :v) You, a Battleborn, are sent on a quest to stop their plan, and let nothing in your path hold you down before taking them down.

Or of course, do Versus and have some 5v5 Battleborn orgy action by ripping into other players and emerging on top!

Its... quite absurd, but its from the heads behind Borderlands, so its expected to be absurd honestly!

How would I rate the game? Well:

Pro's

- Good length Campaign, which also extends with the Operations DLC's (all in Season Pass)
- Very worth while Season Pass: with way more content then you'd expect for what you pay
- Absolutely fantastic humour. Literally laughing my ass off at some of the lines even still
- Large hero roster. Over 25 Battleborn, and all very unique from one-another, and great personalities to boot.
- Great ranking / leveling system: You actually feel like you've accomplished alot by leveling a Battleborn
- Endless variety of skill building with 100's of different pieces of Gear to equip and activate
- 100's of Challenges and Lore to achieve / unlock. Gives ALOT of replayability

Con's

- A fairly small variety of enemy types to fight. (Can have same enemies / combinations) on alot of levels
- Random frame drops in certain areas. (Probably just particle effects, but yeah, idk)
- Small variety of BGM. Could definitely use an expanded soundtrack
- Some minor terrain / environment clipping. Pretty hard to find, but it does happen

Well, thats all I gotta say for Battleborn.

Would I recommend it? ♥♥♥♥ YEAH I WOULD!

The game has waaaaaaaaaay less people playing then it SHOULD! We could always use more Battleborn! You up for the challenge? I hope so.

Factorio: One of my favourite management games ever!

So, first off, please disregard the Playtime here on Steam, I've actually put about 250 - 300 hours in game since purchasing it from their website about 2 years ago :)

So Factorio, its a management game where you're set with the task of conquering an alien planet to have your colony come down to inhabit. Its a dangerous world, and you are all alone, but you have the tools to begin automation and production on a massive factory, to build defenses such as Gun Towers and Lasers, Automation of goods via Transport Belts and Assembly Machines, and Technology, ranging from Electronic Circuits up to Trains. Research new tech to progress further and make the automation faster and more efficient. Hook up rail systems to haul more goods in, set up Robot Logistics and so much more!

Pro's

- In depth tech tree that can be branched in endless varities
- Detailed management of resource production / consumption (keep production above ;) )
- Challenging Alien enemies, to keep you on your toes and defend your factory from devastation
- Amazing soundtrack. Really captures the atmosphere.
- Completely randomized terrain, for a unique experience everytime you play!
- Did I mention you can kill alien scum with a Bazooka or a Tank? XD

Con's

- Visually, the game could be better, but its not a big issue (I'm a little biased on that)
- Auto-Save pops a window up on screen when completed (hopefully will get fixed soon)
- World Variable Conditions sometimes don't work (namely Land Segmentation)
- Could use a bit more variety in weapons / defenses.

Overall, I love Factorio, and I highly recommend at the very least, to give it a go! Its amazing, and you'll always have a fun time working out why your production is grinding to a halt Hahaha.

10/10 would play many hours again :D

Dark Souls... said to be one of the hardest games made in many years. Well, this review is from a 100% Completionist of the game :D

Ok, so to start, Dark Souls: Amazing game. Great storyline, large variety of combat styles, plenty of sorceries & miracles to mix the game up a bit. Overall, super fun. Dark Souls... however does have its own infamous quirks, such as its ridiculous difficulty compared to modern AAA titles. Features like no Health Regen, No Map for guidance, Enemies with the ability to One-Hit Kill even in the best Armour, etc etc.

Does this make it bad? Certainly not! For me (and thousands of others), its a welcoming change to the overly-easy game market nowadays. Really makes you think how to approach the next room, or avoid the next bosses attack patterns.

Ok, on to my personal ratings of the game:

Pro's

> Deep Lore for Storyline Background.
> Amazing variety of areas & enemies to take on
> Very Ambient & Atmospheric Soundtrack
> Large variety of Weapons & Magics to choose from
> Unique approach to Co-Op / Multiplayer
> Requires Strategy, and not just Blarargahrgara run in and swing

Con's

> Occassional frame rate drops in certain areas
> Bosses can glitch out sometimes & either insta-kill or insta-die
> Lacks information on how to progress at certain points

Overall, I think the Positive outweigh the Negative alot!

And being this is the Prepare to Die Edition, it comes with the Artorias of the Abyss Expansion, which is verrrrry fun and very different compared to the base game :3

Would I recommend Dark Souls? Yes. Especially if you enjoy a game that will make you struggle to beat, then this is the perfect title to pick up ASAP!

9.5/10 would 100% Achievements Again! XD (Seriously, that nearly killed me to do :P )

Ok, so after weeks of addiction, its about time I posted my thoughts on Aura Kingdom! :D

The Game

Ok so Aura Kingdom is an awesome Free 2 Play Fantasy/Anime MMO. Set in the semi-linear world of Azuria, you are an Envoy of Gaia, a human with special abilities and the power to summon powerful & mysterious partners called Eidolons to your aid, as you travel the world, defeating monsters, helping the towns, and defending against the ShadowKnights, a strange and powerful foe!

Discover your Eidolons true potential by fighting alongside with them and leveling them up, into more powerful forms (somewhat like Pokemon :P ) and use their skills to aid you in battle with the upper-hand!

12 awesome classes to choose from, including Ravager (High DMG), Scythe (Necromancer) & Grenadier (2-Handed Cannon Wielder), and blast, slice & shoot through the games many challenging dungeons and Main Quest line. Become a dual-class at Lvl40 with the ability to adopt a 2nd classes skills (for example a Tachi + Katar), and gain many more kickass skills and abilities!

Pro's

- Very balanced classes (PvP can be won by any mix-up of classes)
- Amazing soundtrack (very fitting for areas, a little repetitive, but fitting)
- Great Group Events (including Battlefields, enhanced Dungeons, and special Party Quests)
- Smooth Graphics (easy on the eyes, simple, but aestheticly pleasing)
- Lots of backstory / lore (Simply read what people have to say, it will make sense)
- Not Pay2Win (Can easily get to Max Lvl with High Quality gear, without spending a cent! (although you can get some cool looking apparel and mounts, etc for some cash if you wanna spend)

Con's

- Main Quests can be pretty repetitive (lots of Fetch Quests, Kill X Amount of Monsters, etc)
- Hit Boxes is slightly Buggy (sometimes cannot target opponent until they hurt you first)
- Sudden jump in EXP needed to Lvl after 45 (1-45 quick leveling, 45+ is grindy)

OVERALL

Overall, I love Aura Kingdom, its an amazing MMO that I would highly recommend trying, especially with friends (plus Bonus EXP in parties so Win-Win! XD)

Give it a go, and if you don't enjoy it, no money was lost since F2P! :D

Overall Score - 8.5/10
