After first two parts being released as seperate, standalone games, Rebelion combined both parts with a newest one to create Zombie Army Trilogy. Experience the fall of Germany and rise of undead once again, or jump into last act of this trilogy and defeat biggest threat World has ever seen. Don't forget to bring your friends and sniper rifles!
Zombie Army Trilogy is survival horror third person shooter developed and published by Rebellion Developments.

It's April 1945, and with war coming to an end, Hitler orders the execution of "Plan Z"-resurrecting fallen dead soldiers as zombies, to turn the tides of war and win.
As expected, it goes wrong and now zombies overrun Germany and kill everything on their path.
You will play as one of the survivors that will try to stop this madness from spreading!

Gameplay has not changed from previous two parts, and it's a simple and linear shooter which you can play in 4-man coop with single and simple objective design, often being a basic elimination, wave defense, or a mini boss fight to progress further. However, in added third act you can find secondary objectives that reward you with golden bars. Those rely on either saving civilians, or doing a set of specific tasks, from collecting food to ressurecting dead.
All levels from third act are newly made, while first two acts have a mixture of new locations with locations from Sniper Elite V2, with more gore, blood, and destruction. There is no place for stealth anymore, so be prepared to use your weapon and wits if necessary.

Even with overwhelming amount of opponents, your main weapon of choice is still a sniper rifle. Using it to pick off bigger enemies, kamikazes, and most of the smaller enemies from a distance is a must to survive. In close quarters you will be able to use a variety of smg's or a shotgun to crowd control. And as always, you have a reliable pistol if you will ever run out of ammo, or you will not have time to reload. Ammo management will play not a important role as enemies often drop it, and you can search for it in crates or by looting those few, who had a bullet in their pocket while you killed them. Plus game features safehouses which work as resupply station where you can change your weapons and calm down before going out.
Rest of the gameplay elements, from kicking, types of enemies and overall objectives, remained the same like in two first parts.

Gunplay while remained the same, feels a bit more artificial (especially sniper rifles), but that's mostly thanks to enemies not having a specific movement making the game feel like a shooting gallery. If you need a bigger challenge, difficulty choices remained untouched and the higher you set a bar, more elements is included, such as posture and wind.

On your journey though ruined Germany you can find gold bars and shoot down bottles with blood, both serving as collectibles!

You can still set a amount of enemies to amount of players which is still a really big element. You can easily turn down the amount of enemies so weaker players can still have fun, or increase it so hardcore snipers can have a challenge.
Last act also brought few new enemies which I highly enjoyed killing, even if most of them was simply more armored.

Beside the main campaign you have a Horde Mode, which as name explains, is a simple mode where you fight off hordes of enemies until death. It can be playable with other 3 players, making it 4 brave warriors against armies of undead.

No stuttering, no spikes, no nothing. Game worked fine as it should.

Decent voice acting, great gun and enviroment sound, just like in previous installments, yet felt soundtrack was a bit off the climat of the game. It didn't fit.

If you love L4D but felt it needs more Nazis or Sniping, this game is for you. Simple level design, enjoyable gunplay and many zombies to kill make it a great coop game to play with friends! 8/10
