Its literally so so good. Has that same feel of old age of mythology with a very aesthetically pleasing coat of paint. Please keep making DLCs I will buy all of them. (Aztec, Hindu for starters :) )

The negative reviews are just bad and wrong, this game is still as good as the classic and it just looks better with better UI and some gameplay changes that have improved the experience, such as being able to cast God powers more than once.

Ill keep playing it off and on forever.

You've probably heard of "Cracktorio" .. in this game we call it Annoholic. No joke, the game is addicting as heck constantly optimizing production lines to meet the needs of your people so they can move up in socioeconomic class and.. have even more needs. The DLC is entirely worth it. The game is overwhelming in all the best ways.

At the same time this game is gorgeous with many options to beautify your cities and islands. You'll make a gorgeous settlement.. that cranks out 12 tons of Schnapps a minute. I seriously cant even write all the content this game has.

You like Tropico but wish it was deeper? Get this.

You like Factorio but wish it was prettier? Get this

You like Cities Skylines but wish your buildings really mattered? Get this.

Oh, and multiplayer is dope. You can either play as the same government with 4 players... or 2 teams of 2.. or 4 teams of 1. AI adds tension and gahhh its so good yall buy it.

Ive never noticed any bugs. I still have like 15 stages left undone (they complicated for my smooth brain).

Fantastic game if you enjoy or think you might enjoy programming. 7 billion humans is the deeper version of their prequel HR game. This is good game. Buy it, make brain hurt good

The prevalence of save corruption is a disappointment but can be fixed with external tools. Great game, a classic.

The only game that truly scratches the Final Fantasy tactics itch. Small scale tactical skirmish battles with a highly customizable class system.

I only wish there was more DLC, I wouldve bought it all

my favorite of the "traditional" roguelikes. lots of class variety, lots of content to explore, the dlcs are worth it, still being updated after all this time with two more expansions on the horizon. Worthy of your money

Only playing against bots.

Nice job lying to the consumer. Every time you queue in multiplayer it is likely you are facing a bot and not an actual player.

These bots of course have all the cosmetics and fun characters unlocked so its all flaunted in your face. Very deceptive.

Go ahead and test it out, do a bunch of crouches, hug the wall for all 5 mins of a match. You will quickly realize that its just some scripted bot chasing after you. Then afterwards it counts as a "PvP" win. No way of checking other players profiles, no report system. This game feels like lying to players to attempt to get them to spend money on all the microtransactions.

I want competition with real people, not AI.

Reviewing now before I sink 100s of hours into it. Best historical Total War if you like Bronze Age. Optimized. Beautiful. Fun.

Love the DLC -- but please give the new units unique voice lines :/ Im sure its too late but bleh leaves such a bad taste. Everything else is fantastic though.
