So far really a big fan. The atmosphere is something else. In solo it can even be a little creepy might I say. The combat is very simple, but for this kinda game it's really about exploration, mystery and atmosphere of it. It really nails that part, and it just feels good. So far building seems okay too. The areas in the game are really sceneric. The enemies are cool too, but could benefit from more voicelines. I hope the game continues to be updated, so I can live my life as a dwarf more. Also I know this likely won't happen, but some area outside would be nice. Maybe after the end. Don't know.

My only complains is that you can't use furniture. That is ashame, cuz it would be good for rp'ing. My second problem is that it's very linear. I wish the world was infinite. I get why it can't just generate on forever, but something more open would be nice for the future. Also I get why there's no npc's but... for a future expansion it be a nice idea if other dwarves also got trapped down with us and you could save them and bring them back to base. Would add some company and perhaps they could give mission to add replay value.

I agree, I finished the game and would like to continue as a dwarf with more beasts to kill..there is definite room for expansion. There is not much motivation to fix Dwarrodelf to see Durin's return if nothing actually happens. It is as if someone had a great idea and walked away from it. so sadly, so will I. (Unless of course) there is more that I don't know about or a new DLC is released that expands the story more with other dwarfs(NPC) interaction.
